This episode was so refreshing! I loved seeing Dandan yelling at their club house. I got all teary seeing her do that. It was nice seeing Vivi as well in princess clothing (Is it just me or did her hair grow out?)! Ivan's entrance was really awesome with his huge head. I really enjoyed this episode.
this ep was great too, i'm loving these post-war eps because they pan to so many different people and places so it's just a menagerie of interesting situations. too many to comment on, but a+.
lots of good moments, but I was feeling like zoro..
Behold of my awesomeness~
controversial and/or sensitive topics likely devolve into the same repetitive, derogatory, abusive, and harassing comments can no longer be posted.
But my feels.
Freakin Zoro man, that was hilarious. When Rayleigh said, the crew would understand, except for one, I pretty much doubled over, knowing he meant Zoro. You baka, that is why I love you. "There has to be a catch!" -stares down newspaper-

Hhahahahahahahahahaha me too "there was a man who was dense" XD XD XD Still love him though!!!!!
Rayleigh is Luffy's uncle for real??? Or is Buggy that silly???
p.s. Franky's face XD XD XD I am laughing for even mentioning it!!!! XD XD XD
p.s. 2 I cried again with Dandan! Seriously what's wrong with me??? XD
p.s. 3 according to the preview the girl rookie got caught by Blcakbeard... Poor thing....yikes...
edit: I forgot to mention... The scene where Jimbei and Rayleigh are getting tweaked by the amazons was hilarious!!!
"will you stop that?" XD XD XD
So the arm thing was a message...I already know exactly what it means because at this point- well- it'd be stranger if I hadn't been spoiled!
At least everyone got it- aside from Zoro ofc- that frustrated sigh of his at the end there had me rolling (and so did the fact that Perona was holding the newspaper for him).
Honestly, the minute Rayleigh mentioned "one man who seemed rather dense" I just thought 'Oh Zoro why are you like this?'
So Crocodile is planning to go to the New World as well...I hope that means we're gonna see him a bit more now since I've really enjoyed his presence in the story since Impel Down.
Also, judging by the preview it looks like the rookie Blackbeard took down is Bonney. I really like her so she better be okay! :/

Since I'm writing a lot for this amazing episode I'm going to be considerate and break it off into sections with spoilers. This was so fantastic, I was seriously overjoyed the entire time.
We started with the Buggy Pirates, is there any better way to start than that? Seeing the new and old Buggy Pirates merge was fantastic and I do get the feeling that they care about each other, but only in a loose way. In a way where of course they'd all ditch each other if it was to their benefit but they'll cry of happiness when they see each other, the bunch of idiots they are. It was a sweet reunion! It got me thinking about how I feel Buggy has drawn in this crew due to his charisma and due to his tenacity and opportunism, but his first mates remind me of him in the way that they're here for their benefit. That leads us to Alvida, who I'm still unsure of why she's here with Buggy. I forget if we knew back in Loguetown when she joined but at this point I forget, I do like how she's one of the only non ridiculous people in the crew, as Mohji and Cabaji gloat she stands back. Buggy gave her the treasure map he got from Luffy though which makes me think she may be in for finding Captain John's treasure island with him and thus maybe realizes his tenacity when it comes to this will come in handy!
But all of that was just the icing on the cake, the cake itself was when Mr. 3 showed up, I wanted to cry, I love him so much he's in my top characters so easily and when he showed up and it insinuated that he's still going to stick around with Buggy, at least for now, I was so happy. I was scared he wouldn't come back for a long time and if he's with Buggy we know he has to!!!! I guess Galdino doesn't have anywhere to go at this point now that the Baroque works are down, so just like how he stuck with Buggy because it was better than being alone, I guess he's staying with him now!!! Which makes his crew have all the more depth with the more intelligent Galdino and Alvida as a part of it. I would like to see him have a reunion with Ms. Goldenweek though. Some little things I adored were how Buggy used his detached hands and not his arms to hold up the newspaper, it showed so much love in a small way that someone would use their power, as well as the uncle joke. I think it was wonderful Buggy filler if it wasn't actually in the manga because that is such a Buggy thought process, and like it makes some sense to assume that Rayleigh is his uncle with how Luffy surrounds himself with all these legends that are related to him.
And on top of everything it insinuated that Buggy is going to be a freaking Warlord and I can't take it, I can't take it I'm so excited for that. I think at one point I suggested Buggy becoming a Warlord or an Emperor would be the most amazing thing ever and now that the World Government knows how big of a person he is, the sworn brother of Shanks and a Roger pirate who broke out of Impel Down and played a part in the war, well duh they should invite him!!! They have three spots to fill. If that truly did happen as implied I cannot wait to see Buggy as a Warlord. That said, I think that's a little bit scary too. Buggy is comic relief when he's around people far better than him who either are strong enough to not take his crap or intelligent enough to see through him, and when that wasn't the case he was pretty cruel, like in his first appearance in the anime. So, there's a part of me that thinks if people respect his power that he will be genuinely scary and harmful to many.
Then came Duval, Camie, Shakky, Hachi, Pappug, and all the Flying Fish riders. As awful and vindictive and stupid Duval initially was and still kind of is, he's so likable at this point. Sanji turned his life around and now he is defined by his beauty which his personality is not fit for at all. In fact he is super narcissistic and not self aware, but he's still ultimately very grateful to Sanji for that. Plus he has a gang who's stuck together and is loyal. So, in a way I see him as similar to how Hancock is to Luffy, but he is that way to Sanji, a loyal bro who has done bad things, who isn't perfect, but is a good asset to have on your side due to their undying loyalty. Plus, it was awesome to see the airheaded Camie finding him genuinely cool and seeing Hachi defend her from thugs, and seeing them fight for the Straw Hats. It was all super cool!
Of course I must mention Kuma's appearance. In the war and from his own words about that being the last time Luffy would see him, and about not having much time with Rayleigh, it makes me worry. He shouldn't have control over himself, he's 100% machine at this point from all the evidence. So it makes me think he's here on some kind of commands, so we should hope it's some good ones...
I laughed so hard and was so amazed by Crocodiles scene. Crocodile is one of my favorite characters in One Piece and one of my favorite villains ever. Further, his relationship with Daz Bones mesmerizes me, as he seems to be the one who knows Crocodile best and has stuck with him with his life on the line through it all. Crocodile brings him along with him and they work together, this is the Crocodile who doesn't trust anyone and uses everyone to his benefit, yet his bond with Daz seems real and that makes Daz super interesting to me. He was Mr.1, the top agent of Baroque works, and he joined Crocodile then, he helped Crocodile fight through Marineford, and he's sticking with him now. Crocodile called him, not Mr.1, but Daz. Meanwhile he still called Galdino Mr.3 in Impel Down if I recall. And they had that cute, 'are you being sarcastic moment' as well as the amazing,
I'll be going to the New World, you coming?"
"Of course.", as if it was absolutely obvious.
Daz is clearly dedicated to Croc, and Croc works with him so closely that they are one mysterious duo but also one of my favorites in One Piece. Daz himself may not be super interesting, he is stoic, stone cold, dutiful to Crocodile and this is the main characteristics I feel he shows, yet his relationship here leaves me so interested and I want so many more moments of these two having some down time. Perhaps Daz respects Crocodiles strength and life philosophy, but with how Crocodile is I feel he could always betray Daz if it came down to it, I'm not so sure but I think it's possible and that makes his loyalty even more interesting. Maybe this is the one person Crocodile can trust and wouldn't do that too...
On top of all of that, I have to mention the hilarity that was them sitting in the middle of a random town casually after being known Impel Down escapees who took place in the war. They were just causing total fear sitting there as Crocodile read a newspaper. Plus, Daz looked fly in that suit!! He looked so good! It was great.
I don't have nearly as much to say about the other smaller moments, but seeing Vivi and Karoo and the security in Alabasta was wonderful. Cobra is clearly still very grateful towards Luffy.
The Dadan family giving a little funeral to Ace at their hideout and telling him how he saved Luffy's life was tear jerking and amazing.
Plus, seeing everyone so glad Luffy was alive all around the world was sweet as all heck. It's a reminder of how much they've changed the world, how much they mean to people, how many connections the Straw Hats have. Just as Cobra said, not every pirate is like them, they're one in a million! Somehow the Franky families cheers got to me the most.
So, I interpreted his tattoo instantly as 3 days crossed out, 2 years. It was the only words that I could make sense of there. With how Luffy did that display as to get the news across the world so his friends would see the tattoo, I think that's what it is. 'We're no longer meeting up in 3 days, but instead 2 years, so everyone do your best to grow until then.' That's how I take it at least. And seeing everyone's responses to it was interesting, Robin and Sanji's happy understanding, Nami's slight anger that he won't let her rush to his side to help him, Chopper and Usopp's utter happiness that he's okay, Brooks casual acceptance, and of course Zoro's dumbassery. Perona must have held that newspaper up a long time!!!
Is it just me or was Perona way more forthcoming about her care for Zoro here? She openly said she was taking care of him, told him he was being dumb for continuing to fight when he's this hurt, and when told to leave him alone she didn't run off or yell about how she won't care for him anymore. Instead she started to flaunt the newspaper she brought him, as in she knows she isn't going to get his gratitude unless she brings him something he's interested in. She's getting more used to him. It was a cute scene overall.
This and last episode were quite incredible, showcasing so much of the world changing and giving us a look at all these characters we love and what their next steps are. Also the stretching scene was quite incredible. The way Luffy and Rayleigh just accepted being stretched and the way Jimbei was the only one put off by it was hilarious, especially Rayleigh's part there. He seemed way too used to it.
Edit: I actually couldn't get Daz and Crocodile off my mind so I did some theorizing about their relationship and this is some ideas I have.
I think it's likely that Crocodile knew of him and gave him the #1 position in Baroque works. Then saw how he stuck it out to the end and was a valuable asset, and a loyal one. Then he saw how he stuck with him and fought with him through Impel Down and Marineford and grew to be fond of him. That's my theory right now, but that leaves out why Daz is so loyal to Croc in the first place. That's an important part of their duo and 'bond' but at the same time they could have met as Daz was an assassin or whatever he was before Baroque works started. Maybe even Crocodile hand picked him after meeting him?! They totally vibe like a mafia boss or yakuza boss and his right hand man. And Daz's loyalty just straight up reminds me of a Straw Hat and that makes me think, did he see a side of Crocodile we didn't?!! Sorry, I'm kinda writing fanfiction right now trying to theorize why these two are allies like this, where it feels they aren't equals but Crocodile and Daz respect each other, whether it was the natural progression of seeing Daz's loyalty and strength as he stuck with Crocodile or if it started before that or even something else.
To stress, the one missing piece here for me is why Daz is willing to die fighting Mihawk for Crocodile and travel into the New World with him. It should be noted Crocodile showed some depth with how he wanted to overcome Whitebeard and for when WB was too weak he sided with him and seemed genuinely truly sad when he died, and upset when he showed weakness. He also has a history he doesn't want to come out with Ivan. So he has a lot going for him which Daz could be a part of, and we don't really understand Crocodile's motives, perhaps Daz knows them and is in for helping Crocodile get there by believing in the same thing. Or, crazy theory, what if Crocodile wanted to surpass Whitebeard and that was his dream and Mr.1 just wants to grow strong and these two are analogous to Luffy and Zoro. Zoro who went from pirate hunter to pirate like Daz did from assassin(iirc) to this and who is loyal as all heck to Crocodile. And Crocodile who clearly with his all wanted to honestly beat and surpass Whitebeard on a personal level, as if Whitebeard was a figure that was analogous to how Shanks affected Luffy, even if Crocodile wanted to kill him instead of making him proud. That may be way off but it would be cool if Crocodile had a grieving period here off screen and decided he'd go forward in the New World to become stronger and Daz was all for it. AHH, I love these two. Sorry, I know this is absolutely fanfiction at this point since we only have a few crumbs of what their relationship truly is like.
Buggy being invited to become a Warlord of the Sea is an absolutely hilarious thought but it's understandable considering how his crew's now composed of all sorts of notorious criminals. He'll get the clout and they'll be able to keep him in check. A win-win~
Everyone in his crew understood what Luffy meant by the tattoo on his arm except for a certain moss head~ It's admirable that Zoro's using every single brain cell in his head to understand his captain's message to them though! I'm looking forward to hearing the explanation behind the tattoo soon.
Franky without his face is a lot more horrifying than Brook, surpringly enough.
I really love the episodes of One Piece where they show what else is going on in the world. It's fun to see a bunch of old, familiar faces reacting to Luffy's actions. I'm quite interested in what's next for Crocodile and glad he has Daz with him. It's good to see Mr. 3 has found himself a new crew with Buggy, he fits in nicely. Speaking of Buggy, what if Buggy stumbles into becoming a major player in the new world? lmao
It's also nice to see the Flying Fish Riders again, they've turned out to be pretty helpful. I hope they survive this encounter with Kuma.
Am I the only one who thinks that Zoro isn’t dumb? Lol. Remember when they just entered Grand Line and Zoro knew that Vivi and Baroque Works were scheming something? It was Luffy, Ussop, and Sanji who got tricked. Maybe it was the pain that prevented him from figuring it out :p. I was hoping that Rayleigh was referring to Brook. I was like, “It would be so mean if they make Zoro the dumb one.” Poor guy! xD.
Man it’s annoying being kept out of the loop what does Luffy’s message mean what is Rheighly’s plan we’re all kinda like Zoro we can’t figure out what the secret message is but the difference between us and him is that we just don’t know and that he’s just to dull 🤣
