Ga-rei! No wonder Kadokawa never authorized its license in the US.

but will this convince people to pay for something they can STILL get for free? i guess it is largely up to the community the support it otherwise it will fail.

If they pick up unscanlated manga that interest me I might support it.

I'm finding the Takao Saitou titles pretty interesting, they keep adding them which is awesome. I'm also happy to see a bunch of license recuses this time. Starting to see some good stuff.

A ton of their titles have never been scanlated such as almost all the Takao Saitou titles, Todenka, Odds GP!, Lady Joker, and many more.

As well as H20 -Footprints in the Sand- and SHUFFLE!, those were dropped projects by groups.

I think its ridiculous they still are moving forward with this. I support the companies and all, but I think paying for digital media when its something like manga is a pretty dumb thing in the first place.

Even if some of these are good titles, I'm betting that most of them are not worth your purchase, given the vast amount of great scantilated titles out there you can read for free. I could understand paying for these if one is a die-hard manga fan that needs to read every title known to man (hyperbole folks), but not at all if you are a casual reader. Bringing new titles to the market doesn't necessarily make it good off the bat, in other words.

Still don't see myself using this site until they drop their prices and open up more payment options.

More selection just nothing I want at the moment, I'll consider it if they end up with a few good harem titles.

See they already have titles that I've wanted to read but never have been scanlated. I do hope they move to a one price consume all you want model. For now they already have me with these titles.

They also finally put a feedback form up on their site, which I suggest anyone with any sort of complement/suggestion to use. I've already suggested a bunch of titles that have never been scanlated and some rescues.

This list is defiantly getting better! I really liked Momogumi Plus Senki, and was really upset when Tokyopop shut down. Hopefully JManga brings back other Tokyopop titles. Or manga publishers can release them.

Blood+, Deadman Wonderland, Neon Genesis Evangelion and H2O are def. mangas I would consider buying, but I'm still not too big on reading manga online (or paying for it).

I think if it was something more like Spotify (the music service) or Crunchyroll then it would work out better and more people might be willing to pay for it. If I got the same stuff I read online now for a one flat monthly fee, I'd totally go for it~

I'd actually consider it if that was the case. And, you know, if it was available in Norway.
