I didn't start watching a show about a matriarchal succubus society to get this nasty crud. Sigh, anime, I love you. But stop this just for once, give me a break. In fact, somebody slap the animators. A whole "women are cooks" thing, really now? Really? Did you just do that? Holy crud that was stupid and annoying. |

| The scene where Naoya was thinking about how one day he was going to have to sleep with his half daughter was surprisingly pathological. I'm really shocked that they actually took a look at how sad being a succubus could be. I did not expect that, at all. The whole idea behind the succubus race rarely becomes more than an excuse to get a porno going, and its rare that a series actually looks at how crappy an existence that would be. I'm rather impressed. Oh, and EWWWWW. The Queen's breasts are so unbelievably ugly. They seriously look like someone sewed a pair of elephant balls onto her chest. Effie's chest looks even more like a pair of testicles. These people seriously need to cover their shoulders. Or invest in some sunscreen. I swear they all have sunburnt shoulders all the time. |

| Maybe they should have dropped all the ecchi things and this could have been a lovely family comedy. Not that I'm complaining, absolutely loved this episode, laughed a lot. Zelda is my favorite character, it was nice that she had some screen time. Judith was great too! Wonder how the whole romance will end up though, I would prefer a LottexNaoya ending, but that would need a timeskip to really work... Anyhoo, 5/5. |

| The names and families of some of Lotte's friends are variations on some of the races that inhabit the norse nine worlds. They aren't on middle earth (human world) anymore so a lot of the standard rules on sexual relations (or the rules we like to believe are standard) don't apply. Keep in mind that Lotte has to begin feeding off a male fairly soon or she's in big trouble. It's her nature as a succubus, the same way that vampires have to suck blood. I think we can expect to see Lotte's instincts kick in pretty soon, whether Naoya is willing or not. Since Naoya has already had one faerie lover (the Queen), he should probably realize how things are and get to work. Eventually Lotte will add more men to her harem (probably a way of avoiding wearing them out individually) and he can go back to the Queen who obviously still has feelings for him as well. |

| I know this is a mandatory beach episode, but I have to admit that I was surprised by the resurgence of fanservice in this episode, as for the past few episodes I thought the ecchi had settled down in favor of character development and plot advancement. Maybe I don't really like the direction this is going in now, but with 3 episodes left to go, it's still too early to judge. Naoya x Lotte ending might be a little too predictable, I just hope it won't go that way. |
