Nice to see Toshokan in there, really. Though Naruto still in there is a little odd, but it looks like some of the usual staples are missing.

Kudos for Toshokan Sensou for making it to the list! =D

But I think Kure-nai deserve a place there as well...

Whoa, Library War is up there. I wish ANN would release 11-15, too, maybe it's been at 11 the whole time.

I'm not, since a new filler ark started which is much better than the slow paced normal story this far! More action, no flashbacks!!!

Japanese anime top ratings always notice me on what NOT to watch and this time its proven true yet again,as there's nothing but crap in there :/

Most of them are nearly impossible to find. For example, only 30 people on MAL have seen Sazae-san (or put it in their Plan to Watch list, which is more likely) and it is No. 1. I've only seen one episode and that was when I was in Japan.

No. 2, Chibi Maruko-chan, isn't subbed by anyone (Sazae-san has a fansubbing group but they've fallen off the face of the earth) yet. Going by scores, only 90 or so people have seen it.

Gegege no Kitarou has been scored by 30 people and also has a mysterious fansub group.

Only 90 or so people have rated Doraemon, which is almost 2000 episodes (possibly shorter than Sazae-san, though, because it has existed since the beginning of time).

Precure 5 GoGo is only rated 17 times, and doesn't even have a description.

Naruto, One Piece and Shin-Chan are licensed in the US, at least.

eh, only shippuden brings up any interest for me
"Forged in darkness with wheat harvested from Hell's half acre. Baked by Beelzabub; slathered with mayonnaise beaten from the evil eggs of dark chickens, force-fed to dogs by the hands of a one-eyed madman. Cheese boiled from the rancid utters of fanged cows. Layered with 666 separate meats from an animal which has maggots for blood."

I love how the top 3 are old children's shows with names and suffixes in the titles :P
I really want to watch Sazae-san to see what it is like :P

At least Naruto Shippuuden is doing better then Bleach. Anyone notice Bleach is doing poorly? I'm tempted to stop watching Bleach because of poor quality. Even Macross F had a bit of dodgy quality in episode 8 as some say.
I'm so been living under a rock, I need to catch up with better anime ¬_¬

I'm glad I didn't start Bleach. If I'm severely bored I might one day, but for now, no.

Hooray for one piece XD

didn't know Shin-Chan was so popular though lol I should probably check up on these lists more often!

NOt surprising. Shippuden being in between all other child shows, that is...

Bleach at least better in story than "Child Ninjas saving friend"

Not a very surpirsing list at all. Well, maybe Toshokan Sensō was a little odd but apart from that it seems to be pretty a normal list.

And for further notice the new series with Kitarou is named Hakaba no Kitarou (like the original manga they are all based on) and not Gegege no Kitarou like previous series.
EDIT: nevemind what I wrote before, didn't think that Gege no Kitaro was still airing. Weird to have to adaptions of the series airing at the same time :/

Pokemon has standed the test of time...I'll always have fond memories of the first series.
Your search on "Oran Solus" returned the following quotes:
"Oran Solus? I know him. What a wanker. He still owes me a tenner." Oscar Wilde
"Oran, you're so intelligent and awesome <3" Bakayaro
"Oran's sexy." LolitaDecay
"Oran is a sophisticated penguin." Drybananna
"Oran is a Hand-Eye you faggots." EddieSpaghetti
"Oran for Prime Minister." the_prime_one
"Oran is all that is stated in his sig and more." orbitzz

late night series invasion begins now!!! (dream)

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.
