| I hate censorship in anime (damn you Ishihara for making it worse), not just when they censor nudity but also when they cover/remove some blood & gore. Snowing said: Dubs. | I'll be honest, sometimes, gecko plots/endings that are aimed at 'the impressionable' partially ruin a story of significantly better quality that those who don't view the manga/light novel may never see (it's up to them if they choose not to read). Basically, taking someone elses hard work and sculpting it into something that will do well marketing wise. E.g. (better include one) One manga I read (Juuden-chan) has a; depressed, hard working 'suit', widdowed, financially struggling, middle aged 'dad to the lead', who was suicidal, in it's anime adaptation, they replaced him with the; cute, moe, teen girl, 'little sister to the lead', who was suicidal. The 'cute girl' sells better, but the original character set-up was a lot more realistic and appropriot to the plot - which had the dad's behaviour have an effect on his son (the main character). |

| I'm sure this has been said before but when there's too much fanservice. I would prefer watching a shitty show with no fanservice, then a shitty show with loads of fanservice. Also, I'm not exactly sure how to word it, but in Kannazuki no Miko, when the guy is like super powerful, and the girl who is supposed to be the MC is super weak, and always needed to be protected by him. |
| Clichés. Sometimes it seems impossible to find anime that's even somewhat original - most of them start out good and then devolve into what every other anime is: a chance for fanservice and unconvincing romance. |
| Colds, hero needs to be almost dead to use the powerfull tecnic (I mean, if you have the power, don´t wait to be beaten to show it), kids saving the earth (or just tokyo/japan), fanservise, MC waits until the last episode do declare the love he feel since the begging and maybe don´t even kiss, shoujo does not have the end in anime so I need to read the manga... Those are the ones I can remember now. |

| Am I the only one with no major complaints? Only thing that bugs me is when a serious anime randomly during a serious scene suddenly turns all chibi and nosebleeds. Its done too much and sometimes ruined the mood. There are times when its appropriate for comic relief but usually they do it wrong and way too often. Do we really need to see a bloody nose to know a character is turned on? You usually can tell by how they act anyways. Im also not fond of when the name of an attack is displayed in text on the screen or every attack is called out loud 100% of the time. Why are some people complaining about normal cliches? Cliches happen in real life. If they were devoid in every anime it wouldnt be very convincing. |

| Fillers is the easy choice for me.. Especially since I've had the pleasure of watching the Naruto and Bleach fillers. Another would be excessive fan service. Some fan service is fine with me, but something like high school of the dead is when it becomes just a little too ridiculous. |

Third, I hate when an anime has a childhood friend and another character gets lots of screen time and the childhood friend still ends up winning... And lastly, how almost no harem actually has a harem ending The only harems that had a surprising ending was shuffle and Mashiro Symphony. |
