Things that aren't genre specific, or even production company specific. For example. Maybe you hate commercialization of anime to sell products pushing the medium towards a state of uniformity by promoting the production of a shitload of the same kinds of popular shows while essentially punishing any attemts to break from the mold and make something different. Things like that. |

| I agree this is a "hate thread" , loving it. Mine are pretty much the same, except i kinda enjoy over-powered leads if done right, or the "chosen one" types. I also don't like it when a series is adapted into an anime and it isn't seen through to completion, I rather see a series like Fruits Basket, Full Metal Panic!, and Ranma 1/2 have their remaining volumes that haven't been adapted in anime format completed, than some random new series green-lit for production. |

| I hate it when any anime have really hyper,overly cheerful characters like Mokona in Tsubasa Chronicle and that white dog-rabbit thing in Shounen Onymouji that always follows the main character around. I'm also not a fan of depressing endings that alot of anime tend to have. I usually don't like anime that are episodic. I like ones that have continueing storylines to make me want to watch more. Edit: I also don't like when the characters yell their actions. You're supposed to catch the enemy by suprise, not alert them of your attacks, you idiots. :/ Fanservice/ porn/sexual aspects of anime, especially if the only purpose of the anime is for sex and it has no real plot. Kids with fighting monsters. Ex:Pokemon, Digimon, Monster Rancher,etc. Seriously. If it were about dog fighting people would freak,but because they're some wierd monster things it's ok? The kids obviously don't care about their pet monsters if they're going to let them get hurt just for entertainment sake. |

| There is many cliches and to be honest I really don't dislike them most them, there is actually a few I really enjoy. The major thing that I dislike about anime though is when really spectacular shows don't get licensed or things that do get licensed are out of print. It doesn't help a budding collector out. :( Edit:Oh yeah there is one thing that gets me sometimes, when a young male character has a girl voicing them that is way too high pitch. It's the type of voice that my mind can't be brainwashed into thinking "this is most definitely a guy." Hoshizora E Kakaru is a recent example that comes to mind. |

| I hate it when animes are "very" predictable. It's alright when I can predict what's going to happen in the end, but not when I can predict it every single step of the way. I also hate it when the longer series (like Inuyasha, Bleach, DBZ ect) are very repetitive. They start out good and strong, but after 50-100 episodes it's the same thing over and over, or a single fight scene lasts 5-10 episodes (alittle overdramatic). |

| I really hate it, when People in Anime exxagerate over things, no one really cares about. When the main Female Character is completely shy, like she can barely talk. And when everyone is extremely friendly to each other, like in Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu. |

| I'm actually kinda surprised at how many others don't like fanservice; judging by how popular series tend to have quite a few instances, I figured I was more or less in the minority since I didn't like it. It's just kind of annoying. It's probably one of the only clichés I'm actually annoyed with. |

| Two annoying cliches that just came across my mind: -Adjusting one's glasses, usually done by pushing them up by their bridge; it's always done when a person is about to say something important/smart. I mean, come on, I happen to be bespectacled and I hardly ever do it. -Another glasses cliche: the almighty shining glasses; it appears that they can be turned on or off at will by the person wearing them even if there is no light to reflect; mostly used for instilling fear/intimidation. |

| Various tried, tested and safe cliche's, such as: - Two females = bitter rivals, two males = friendly rivals - Spoilt Tsundere's with little background or use (love interest?) - Wimpy/passive males who always fall victum to tsundere episodes - Characters have to be of a certian age, which is almost always under 18 - Big bad established villians who you know are going to get taken down by the main - Creators in a rush to turn their main character into the strongest of all hero's (why does the strongest = best?) |
