| Joey was an idiot at the beginning of this episode... It's obvious that Mai likes him. That whole "erasing memories" thing is very hard. I guess Mai will eventually lose her memories from Joey at the end and she will feel extremely lonely then... I don't see any hope for her, I just hope she will gain her memories back later. |

| One thing that the Yugioh series never changed after it's switch to duel monsters, was some of the creepy imagery that Kazuki Takahashi seemed to really love. |

| Mai never won a major duel and she will probably not this duel. Despite that, it's very nice that she will surely gain a development this time. It's sad she's losing her memories this duel. The annoying Revival Slime came back. I wonder if that card was banned since Ive never seen in any games. |

| While I liked Dunames Dark Witch, it was obvious that they only had Mai use it to promote its OCG release and because she's a female. Although it doesn't suit her current deck since she relies on her Harpies and Amazoness cards, and Dunames isn't part of either archetype. It also annoyed me a little that they expanded the duel beyond what the manga showed by having Marik play the Slime cards and Masked Beast Des Gardius. |
