| Seeing the vivre card completely disappear followed by ace hitting the ground was just... Sad to see him go : ( |
| If Luffy doesn't go balls-to-the-walls-nuts after what just happened, I'll be pretty upset. I mean, look at how he reacted after the Tenryuubito shot Hachi. And this is his frickin brother. He needs to be pissed off and kick a lot of marine ass. |

We need to keep in mind how little strength Luffy actually has in him though, plus I am pretty sure despair pretty much owns any anger he might be feeling. Totally looking forward to Whitebeard kicking alot of marine ass though : ) |

| Tears in the eyes will be the normal here for the one's seeing the scene for the first time. 5* because i just love the Garp/Jinbei moments and the speech of Ace :') Now about the preview, that is really boring but understandable :X |

| I thought both Akainu and Ace is a logia type ...Akainu can regenerate body part while Ace can't regenerate ..I guess magma > fire . |

| It was more sad in the manga. It had more impact imo compare to the anime. I know the episode was sad but the last part with Luffy crying looked funny. Anyway Ace is the first character that is important that got killed in OP right? I don't remember anyone important in anime or manga that died before him. |

| Something hit me when I saw the episode play out, intentional or not, that I think makes it for me. Luffy says "I'll save you even if it means death" at one point, and it seems like it *did* mean death, but he also succeeded in saving him from the question "should I have ever been born". The Whitebeard Pirates and Luffy showed Ace his life was worth living, and although it also meant his death, he was "saved", leaving him happy at his end. |
