FUCKING JOKER!
I want to punch his face so much. They should have stabbed him with paper when they got the chance.

Seriously I don't understand. Why would the Japan would sell its country to the UK. I mean it is not like the UK has rights or governmental body in Japan. Why isn't the government of Japan all over this...

I used to like Joker-San and Wendy-San in the prequel OVA but now I don't like them one bit. I wonder what Anita was doing before that fire and why she was there in the first place.

Wow... Nazis kinda come to mind & Mr. Joker if thats the 1st thing that comes to mind when ppl see the actions of the organization YOU are in charge of its pretty much impossible to perceive you as a hero.. Granted any organization aiming to rule the world is Villainous even if they don't take radical measures toesrds that goal

So, why are they burning all those books ?

Don't talk to me about character development if Kaizuka Inaho or Slaine Troyard are in your favorites.

It all came together this episode. Readman was the one who burned down The British Library and the aversion to books and fire Anita has must be from then—Readman had a request to protect someone's "little sister", aka Anita.

This show is so amazing. I yelled when they started the book burning, I'm so emotionally invested. >_<

I generally liked the show so far but this episode is really disappointing. The pacing is all wrong. It looks like they slowed down the frame rate of the action scene to makes it longer. Everything seems to be on slow motion when they should be fast.

The second half is full of nonsense. The characters have no sense of urgency at all and why wouldn't have they carry the book with them all the time if it's that important?

Also the book in question is probably worth more than all the books in Tokyo, that's too irrational for them to be baited out this way.

Why wasn't Michelle affected by the sound weapon? It's like she's deaf but she's been reacting to sounds normally for the whole series so she'd need some alternate means of sensing it if that were the case.

That's something from the OVA; the "little sister" is Nancy.

Joker and Wendy truly are evil. They're burning the books, because they knew that it would lure Yomiko out.

It appears I was right about Yomiko being the one who set fire to the British Library, but she must've had a good reason. I have a feeling we're soon going to find out why.

Book burning? (-.-) ... the series has charisma, but this is increasingly more absurd.

Every time I hear "Za Payper" it throws me off. Especially because sometimes it just didn't work with the rest of the structure of the sentence. Just use her name.

I wasn't thinking about it before because I wasn't sure if this series and the OVAs were connected. They confirmed that now though. So, I'm guessing that Junior is the Nancy's kid they were talking about.

Are they going to explain why they are burning books? It seems a little random at the moment.

Yep. It sounds so corny and the delivery of the line is so awkward with its inclusion.

Maybe I'm really misinterpreting this but Yomiko says that Joker made Nancy into the person she is now and mentions her child that is supposedly dead. Did he rape her while she was in recovery from the events of the OVA and have the kid killed after he found out or something?

They sure don't have that much sense of urgency with the book when they're in Yomiko's room with that little fight but Yomiko seems to have connected the dots with Junior being able to phase in and out of walls at will. She should really just destroy the book or something...
