Wow next spring, eh? That's a bit of a wait... well its another thing to add to my list of things to look forward to next spring.

I hope more zombie killing is involved than ecchi, because that's why I originally watched this... for the zombie killing.

I didn't watch HOTD yet ..
But i think this is a great news! Cuz alot of people into this anime these days
&& I really look forward to watch it <33 , especially that horror is my fave tipe

No. manga volume 7 will be released with extra OAV episode. That's all.

If n e one noticed at the end of the credits (for those of you who read the manga), that was asami the police girl who komuro and the others meet at the next area which is the shopping mall.
It is safe to say that by Asami making a short appearance at the end tells us that there will be a second season. And as for the other figure that appeared with Asami is still unknown to the readers as well. The other figure has yet to appear in the manga itself so therefore is left unknown. i believe that is Rei's father who is still alive looking for his daughter.
This is just my opinion but i think they plan to continue the series either in spring of 2011 or summer of 2011. Reason being is that a zombie thing only works during the summer, especially in Asia, namely Japan and Korea. I am thinking they will release the OVA as a set up for the second season introducing to the viewers who Asami the Police officer is.
Tell me what you guys think~

Would be grat if it's true, let's just wait, I still can't believe HOTD is done, episode 12 looked like previous episodes, so i'm sure there will be second season, but as person above said in summer or spring..

it'll be great if there is 2nd season, and more more fun, but need resources for that.. ^^ if they make it on going, this anime will be more great.. with lot of blood, guns, ecchi and no drama, as someone said, back in comments.. :)

i just finished it!!! it was an awesome anime, i waited 1st until the whole thing was done, i hate waiting for a whole week.
anyway its just too obvious that there gonna make a second season. but why would they need an ova? are they gonna find a pool and chill and have fun there for a while?? cuz OVA's seem to be that nowadays.

Think the OVA to Wolf's Rain. Wolf's Rain's OVA was basically season 2, because why would the story end before the characters reach their goal?
