I'd like a PROPER live adaptation of Dragon Ball Z. Not that childhood-raping piece of shit created by FOX. I've seen fan-made shorts that were better than that crap.

Evangelion would also be awesome, if done right. But then again, it would probably fall on the wrong hands...

Anything realistic like people said before me I guess. I would be interested in seeing something like Beck.

i just want to say this

ROMANCE/SLICE OF LIFE animes would be good
since those genres are REALISTIC, and i think theyre the EASIEST genres to turn into live action TV/FILM.

just saying,. =D

I wholeheartedly agree with this.

School Rumble would make a good one; same thing with K-ON! or Ouran Host High School Club.

I mean, the live action adaption of Honey and Clover wasn't that bad..

EXACTLY. thank u thank u
ur getting what im saying my friend

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann would be a right laugh in live action. I would also like to see Baccano! in the style of Pulp Fiction and directed by someone like Martin Scorsese and I am actually ineterested in seeing the Cowboy Bebop movie. Oh and a live action Evangelion movie... will it ever happen? It has been in development hell for years but with the right production companies behind it and a great director at the helm it could actually turn out amazing. Innocent Venus and Coyote Ragtime Show would make enjoyable action movies as well.

Wow, imagine Mind Game in live action. What a scary thought. That and all of Satoshi Kon's films should never be adapted to live action.

Gotta put this out there, but Steven Spielberg is making a movie based on the manga Ghost in the Shell. Which by the way is set to come out in 2011.
So I'm just going to go with this as my post. Because it sounds awesome.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I would love to see James Cameron's live action adaptation of Battle Angel Alita if he ever gets around to it.

Oh and Utawarerumono directed by Peter Jackson or Guillermo del Toro. That would make a damn amazing fantasy.

Black Lagoon would make a decent live action series if they got the right people to make it and showed it on HBO so that it does not have to be censored.

A GOOD Akagi live action. Without a woman in the entire cast, just as Fukumoto intended.
My current anime list is grossly, out of date, just so you know.

Samurai champloo could be done pretty well, as long as it isn't done like Azumi *shudders* a film like that should not be filled with poor CGI.

Touka's idea of Baccano could be done really nicely too, as long as they have the right actors and feel to it. Tarantino doing it would be really nice, as he's familiar with decent gore, he could be able to pull off the gangster style too, looking at how he dealt with inglorious basterds.

I'm waiting for the Gantz live action xD It looks ok but I don't like the fact that they're probably gonna tone down the violence and nudity... >>

none... something gets lost when you make live action movies... especially when hollywood making them *sigh*

Its basically rich people that don't know anything about the anime, all they know is it is popular so they make the movies to make more money... anime should stay animated and not be turned into live action
