What kind of anime fan do you consider yourself?

| I'd say that I'm a combination of the artist/Japanese type. Drawing is one of my hobbies, and when I do draw, it's mostly in the anime style. I used to draw fanart a lot when I was younger, but as of late, I've only been drawing original pieces. I like Japanese culture a lot and would like to go there someday, but I don't love it enough to live there or put it on a pedestal above all other cultures. If this poll were to exist a few years ago, I would have voted for the fangirl type. I liked shoujo anime, bishounen, seiyuu (more than I do now), a little BL and angst...you name it, I was probably into it. |

| Average. I quit gaming start of the year and anime sort of became the substitute. I don't spend as much time on anime as I did on gaming. Manga has always been a think I've been into since the start of my high school life though. |

| I guess I could be considered an average/artist/japanese type. I love playing games, mostly RPG's mind you, but I only when I have my game phases. Otherwise I wouldn't consider myself a gamer. And I don't mind Yaoi or Yuri but I'm not obsessive about it either. |
| Yaoi/yuri is the closest to me, I suppose. I only watch anime for the hot girls, which limits me to hentai and the occasional ecchi series (provided it has lots of fanservice). |

| Cross between Japanese and gamer. I get so sentimental the more "Japanese" elements an anime has, and wish I had the dedication to learn the language. I also love PC games. My three sources of entertainment these days are PC games, anime, and web browsing (which usually consists of researching and discussing PC's/game and anime). |
| Mostly average, but if you look at my past as an anime fan, you could throw in some artist- and writer-type as well. Though the last thing I've drawn is from 2007 and my latest fic from the early summer of '09. ;_; |

| Probably average with a bit of fangirl/boy thrown in. I watch anime regularly in my free time (about 3-4 eps a day in summer), but not so much reading manga. I do have a few loyalties to certain series that are special to me, so the other tag fits as well. |

| HEY WHERES the 'jaded-type' (one who hates everything they watch but will still watch it)?? Think thats a good option to put up there. As for me, im more of the otaku-type. option isnt up there I like anime in general. Love characters, and buy merch. Full on hobby for me. |

Anyway I consider myself: - Average type (watches animes, reads mangas) - Japanese type (who admires Japan and dreams on going there someday) - Fangirl/boy type (eh, I think everyone here can tell what is one.) - Yaoi/Yuri type (needed a different classification from average anime fan :D) But I voted for Japanese type, as I am closest to that one. |

| Well....>.> it looks like all of them...... I read manga/watch anime a ton, am teaching myself to draw, play VN's, am half-japanese & plan on moving there, I obsess over certain*cough*KONATA!!*cough*characters, yuri is sweeet, and of course the drawings need plots to go with em to make comics. Though if I could only label myself as one, then....I'd be happy with artist. :3 complete amateur artist that is :d |
