I like how Karen is trying to teach Asahi a lesson here. Yeah, this time loop got complicated but also important for her character growth. She finally kissed Uryu under the fireworks! About time. It's the highlight of the episode imo and that confession took guts. |

Don’t care about the rival-chan in the least, tbh. Though hey, the way they programmed this arc, they’re literally begging you to care for her, as yeah, somehow the key to come out of this loop always had to do with Asahi’s self realisation that she actually… longs for a rival..? Lol. Yeah whatever, if it works. Also, that second tanabata festival happening because… … main guy aura exists was just cherry on top I guess. Such a slap-happy conclusion to the arc. Btw, at this point, I think it’s fairly easy to assume who that god is who plays around with these guys. We’ll get an even better idea going forward as well, but it works for now. I talked about cherry on top though, and yeah, all of that was indeed cherry, but you just knew something was coming when that fireworks festival came, and Asahi and Uryu came together towards the end. I mean confession it has to be after all with a kiss at that. First proper confession and yeah, at least Asahi came clear with her intentions.. which in itself has put her forward in the race, like she said:) |

Fantastic episode Glad to see that Asahi and Uryu have finally gotten out of the time loop. Asahi kissing Uryu during the fireworks was just beautiful and so well done. |

Yae teasingly calling Uryu the Hikoboshi to her Orihime was so damn adorable. Ending on the reveal that Asahi's always had a defeatist attitude about her chances with Uryu was would've been such a sad note to end her gremlin adventures on, so I'm glad she decided to be extra bold. |

Asahi is still the worst ship because of the age difference, but that was a sweet moment she shared with Uryu at the end. For me, I’d like to see her increasing boldness used for personal development rather than just romance since I don’t think she has a chance. She really needs to develop more self-confidence and become her own person rather than comparing herself to her sisters. BUT Asahi and Karen shippers we won. I love how much Karen cares about Asahi and wants her to be happy doing what she really wants to do. Asahi losing the race and then immediately wanting a rematch is so cute. They’re going to be rivals forever and I’m looking forward to seeing many more races from them. I knew Yomiko had to know about the endless eight loop and I was right. So I’m guessing after she died, their adopted mom gained godlike powers and there was probably some agreement for Uryuu to come into the girls’ lives and help them grow. Sweet episode, can’t wait for the next. |

@Marinate1016 Exactly what i was thinking. From all 3 Girls, if we would get a "single Girl Ending", Asahi has the lowest chance imo. I like her a lot as a character, but no chance against her two sisters, atleast she knows about that, which led to this nice kiss :3. |

"What!?" "What!?" *nosebleed* *kink activated* That spirit in the fox mask that Yomiko summoned at her shrine has to be the deceased mom/priest. "As always, you do like your tricks" partly comfrims that she is the agent doing the supernatural and time manipulation to benefit the sisters. Asahi decides, that despite being a a distinct disadvantage vs her sisters, she will not give up and settle for just imouto. She nail Uryuu well with that surprise kiss, and leaves him gasping. |

This was exactly what the previous episode was hinting; to escape the loop, you have to placate the narcissistic whims of a rich girl. |

Uryu is 18 and also considered underage (or a minor). Asahi is also the one with the sneak attack kiss. Obviously there's a bit of an age gap but they're both minors. |

I think this weeks episode was great, cute and also very interesting again. I think the arc around Asahi wasat the and really good compared to that of Yeae (which was also amazing). I loved the scenes were Asahi and Karen were facing od each other and their conflict was well solved. Also the Tanabata at the temple was good and the final at the festival was amazing. It blowed my mind what happend between Asahi and Uryu and i think it was very well portrayed by the actors and the animation. Really great all in all and I am very hyped for next week. :D |

@Rodri_vezir not trying to normalize anything. Just stating that they're all minors whether you think its wrong or not (except Yae being 20). If you're going to drop the show for something stupid like that then that's your choice, mostly everyone else seems to be enjoying the story. |

Everything got fixed and they finally got out of the loop, Asahi could even do both the race and the festival since they held another one one month later, but that was definitely the best ending we could hope for since we got Asahi kissing Uryuu under the fireworks and confessing to him, wow. |

So Karen was the answer to breaking the loop, it was wholesome and really the best outcome for both her and Asahi because they ended up doing another Tanabata anyway, but idk it just seems kinda odd to me that pleasing Karen was the key, you’d think it would have been about Asahi herself, but then again I guess this is what Asahi truly wanted so I’ll take it lol, it was still a great end to this time loop arc, I think Asahi and Karen have a really sweet friendship/rivalry. And turns out Yomiko knew about the loop, doesn’t really surprise me, but it was cool to see who I’m assuming is the mother of the three sisters, so this was all her doing huh, now I know who to be mad at for undoing good times for the perfect route lol. But the Asahi goodness didn’t end with the arc, we got some aftermath at a summer festival with the sisters in some really nice yukatas, but despite their beauty they were being their usual goofy selves, Asahi’s reaction was good there lol. And when Asahi got Uryu alone for the fireworks we got a very good kiss scene, I’m really glad she went for it because it was sad that she was putting herself down and saying she doesn’t have a chance with Uryu, I’m sure some would absolutely love it if she just got little sister zoned and called it a day but imo that would be an upsetting end to her part in the romance race, especially after we just got an arc about her. So hell yeah Asahi, go after your man, you may not have as realistic a chance as your older sisters but the chance is absolutely there, I think it’s very possible Asahi gets the win. |

Asahi is absolutely cranking right now. Love seeing her know what she wants and is going for it. Her arc has been so good. Rolling my eyes at all the clowny pedo age gap crap. Uryu isn't grooming her, or forcing anything on her even if he does end up picking her. And if he does, they'll be older and in the same age range, their late teens early 20s. |

Hilarious start to this episode. Karen motivated Asahi and gave her the push she needed, looks like they have become friends. Asahi wins the race and the loop is over for them thankfully. Looks like Yomiko knew about the loop. What an ending we got there. |

Let's go Asahi.... Don't get imouto zoned take what you want. Don't let this woke moralist stop you. Seeing woke hypocrites cry in this thread and got owned is cherry on top of such a lovely ending.. But then imouto chara meta is quite strong so don't sacrifice that either. Karen was right they are having more than improper relation. Karen was quite helpful in atleast breaking the loop without her Asahi never would got proper motivation to prioritise the race but Uryu also laid groundwork before the race probably another reason it broke. Rizzed up Asahi smoothly. I really like Yomiko she is really entertaining probably my second favourite after Yuna. I am not 100% but that masked women supposed to be their mother ig... It's a bit sad Asahi always downplays herself and has insecurity comparing to her sister. But she didn't give up and let Uryu know her feelings. Really beautiful kiss and confession under the fireworks. Well done Asahi... Great ending to a great arc far better than last one. |

I’m so sad reading this thread, all these people bad-mouthing my favorite girl. Like genuinely, I really don’t see why you all have such a problem with age gap relationships. It’s honestly so annoying to hear people go “I really hate this ship but at least her arc was nice”. That’s so rude lol, and tbh, you didn’t see Asahi supporters kicking up a fuss during Yuna and Yae’s focus arcs. But of course it’s okay to do this here simply because Asahi’s the youngest, she’s underage, sorry I forgot, what else? Oh right, age gap bad, whoops. And those of you who keep adamantly hoping that Asahi won’t be treated as a real viable love interest are going to continue to be disappointed as the series goes on, I’m warning you early. So you might as well get over whatever your problem is with her and Uryuu now, seriously. For the record, the only reason I’m getting into this here is because all of you people who have a problem with her simply couldn’t keep your mouths shut without moral grandstanding either, so. Anyway, that moral police nonsense aside, I just wanna say I’m so happy they did Asahi’s arc so much justice; I was really looking forward to this the most, as it was when she really became a fave for me in the manga. I also have always loved the idea that the key of breaking this loop is the race with Karen, of course. But more importantly, it’s about Asahi being honest with her feelings about the shrine and her sisters, and her desire to continue to compete and how she feels about Karen as a rival. And then this so perfectly culminates in her also being honest about how she feels in comparison to her sisters, and allows her to finally be fully honest about her feelings for Uryuu. I think they timed the kiss with the fireworks perfectly! It made me feel like I did when I saw it in the manga. And Asahi messing up her words was so cute! Now, she has another race she doesn’t want to lose. And I’m super biased (in case this post and my last hadn’t made it clear), but of course I’m rooting for best girl Amagami Asahi all the way! Next arc will be interesting to see adapted, so I’m looking forward to it as well~ |

Really, the girl is 14 years old, Uryu is portrayed as smart, but he is a fool, he is a pedophile, and if he doesn't connect until the end of the season, I will be done with this anime.😮💨

My wife and me have a 4 year age gap, my parents 3, my parents in law had 5. All these relationships have been successful between 35 and 62 years. But in this bigots eyes, we are all fools and pedos. Narrow minded people can’t be reasoned with…
Just for better context, here’s their birthdays…
Yae Oct 15th 2000
Yuna July 11th 2003
Uryu Jan 21st 2004

I don't understand these dates (I also looked them up) according to that fandoms site which I assume you looked too,
2000 Yae is 20
2004 Uryu is 18
2003 Yuna is 17
2006 Asahi is 14
Math was never my strong suit but something isn't right there lol
I thought so too. The ages were probably taken at different stages in the manga or some such stupidity, but the birth dates are concrete. It seems we’re in 2020 at the current time in the anime, the only inconsistency is Uryu who should be 16 at this point, not 18 as stated in the fandom.
@FutoiOtaku @lordJehZeus The anime/Manga stated that Uryu was 17, the same age as Yuna when it started. They're also in the same year. Not sure how concrete the dates and such are, but it was a 3 year gap with each sister except Yuna who he was the same age as. |

Wow, I was not expecting for Asahi to both confess AND kiss Uryu, and in the mouth too! Moreover, she told her running rival that Uryu is her perverted older brother lol (maybe they saw his nosebleed when he caught them in their compromising position). Regarding Yomiko, it looks like she was the person behind the time loop and it appeared to me that the way out was for Asahi give 100% in the marathon and enjoy the company of her sisters and Uryu in a festival, and probably also confess and kiss him. |

I clapped my hands so loud at 1 am and started barking like a lion after Asahi's confession. We know Yuna is the best girl but I hope he gets married with 3 of them |

Fortune favors the bold! Wow! Asahi took her chance, and it paid off. That kiss was the cherry on top after finally breaking free from that loop. I didn't like that Karen was the one holding her back. Why did she need that rivalry? It doesn't make much sense to me, but oh well. I’m just happy to see her happy and finally fighting for a piece of Uryu’s heart. The poor girl has had a huge crush on Uryu, and she finally gathered the courage to let him know how she feels. Good for her! That's two sisters who have confessed their feelings, leaving only Yuna, the last sister, to express her feelings for Uryu. I have a feeling it’s going to take a huge leap of faith to accomplish that. Here’s hoping for the best! These girls are like Pokémon; gotta collect them all. Go get them, Uryu! |

@LordCrueltyV I see that makes more sense since this was supernatural but Yomiko at least was aware of what happened. |

This made me smile after feeling so depressed by this thread. I can't believe so many moral police people have a problem with my favorite girl here. Like I keep saying, the people who want to see her eventually become "someone who only looks up to Uryuu as an older brother" are only going to continue to be hard-filtered as the series continues, especially with later developments. I don't know why they can't accept this, but Asahi's romantic love for Uryuu isn't going away, and the story will continue to portray her as the viable romantic love interest for Uryuu-kun that she is! (As it does for all of the sisters, because they are all, Asahi included, viable romantic love interests in the story.) Anyway, yes, Amagami Asahi truly is best girl~! |

A good writer would end the series right there. Asahi won, Yae dilly-dallied too much, and Yuna is the middle child, which — according to life’s rules — no one cares about. Just bring us the flash forward ten years after episode, and we can end it all on a high note! |
