I remember seeing snippets of the manga and thought it was pretty nice. It's certainly different, because we finally have an ugly/average looking MC going to a fantasy world where everyone is a pretty character (like Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, but more)

@W3TFT I read the whole manga and it's excellent in my opinion...the only downside is there is no more manga or LN at all...I finished with chapter 32 and it has honestly not a clear ending...I wouldn't even have known that was it...I had to google it...the story really had potential to go for a longer time in my opinion....

I would recommend this for sure when it comes out! Really looking forward to it

In Accel, he didnt have a choice to be ugly/fat. The guy in this anime had the option to at least look normal but he chose not to. And thats so wild to me.

Funny thing is I'm sure a lot of guys on mal genuinely feel this way.

@WaffleMaster89 who is the user youre talking about? merve2love is the one harassing me that i got 2 accounts for months now anyway you cannot effectively block users here on mal since you can still see quotes from other users, you got no idea about how merve2love behaves around the forums

@deg I forgot the username of either account, it's been a while and I took several long break from mal in-between. If I see them in the forums though I will edit this.
Blocking still prevents you from seeing most of their posts though, and even if you do see her posts just ignore it. Your always saying she harassing you yet you keep on actively engaging with her. Just completely ignore her and you'll be fine. I've seen plenty of her posts, it's mainly just criticizing others for their opinions. It what many people do on mal she just does it more bluntly.

@WaffleMaster89 she does it in harassing way on every regular thread maker and look you cannot expect a schizophrenic like me to be wise and in control all the time and trust me i plenty ignore her but you only see few times where i engage with her

also i never accuse some regular here to be an alt account especially a woman user so far

@skyixv Didn't have a choice? If I'm not mistaken, the fictional characters are made up so the one who wanted them to look the way they look is the reason why they look the way they look. But maybe I'm wrong. It has been a long time since I last saw Accel World so I definitely don't remember much of the character backstory. In Accel World he was bullied and that was part of the plot but the reason he was bullied didn't have to be because he's abnormally small and fat... Especially the fat part. I'm sure there are other ways of making a character look the right amount of ugly for bullying without making them small and fat. Although I guess that also requires more effort because you have to balance it nicely...? I mean, for the love of god,

Ugly characters don't make sense at all, especially when it's related to romance. Are we really going to sit here and pretend that a fat and ugly man can enter a pure romantic relationship with a cute girl who ISN'T a gold/overpoweredMC digger? Being the MC of a show is enough of a win with the plot armor going for you; there's no need for an additional miracle. It doesn't look right, visually, at all.

Judging by the PV of this new Busamen anime, it looks like there might be some romance involved though, which is sad... for me. It will definitely reduce the enjoyment if I decide to watch it.
