| Spring has come to school once again, and Nokotan is crying...or rather, she has allergies lols. As a deer, Nokotan has allergies, but she clearly denies having them, and of all people, Neko has to get affected by it all the same as well. At least Koshitan developed an immunity to illnesses, so she's free from all cedar pollen. But pollen affecting her antlers is a whole other same issue, and no matter how many pairs of antlers Nokotan has, it'll not be enough to cure her allergy...which sending her straight to an animal clinic...induces her karma lols. Nokotan being absent from the Deer Club, and Koshitan goes out to find her...at the Flower Arrangement Club to make a flower display of her own dislodged head, complete with the antlers and deer crackers. All because the club advisor found her antler flowering to be that sublime, it's sending Koshitan into unrealistic territory. From food elements to a guitar enka performance having flowers move along with the music, it's destroying the club members' perceptions and expectations lols. Remember Episode 3's note with Bashame's rice field paddy? She LITERALLY spent 7 episodes harnessing the ground for it, and even Tsucchi helps along with the rice planting. Even then, this does not compare to Anko's handmade rice balls, and Anko even offers the complementary plums as an addition to the rice. Nice. Nokotan is just balls-to-the-wall crazy, and everyone is getting manipulated into her schtick... |

| Poor Nokotan is suffering from allergies. I can totally relate to her. I hate the spring season every year. It would be fun to see Bashame planting some rice together with Sakuna from Tensui no Sakuna-hime. |

| The only part of this episode that i liked was the Bashame and Anko segment. It's funny how this show gets decent when that brainrot Shikanoko isn't in the mix. |

| Must protect Bashame at all costs! Man, what a cutie ♥ 3/5 episode. Second segment with the Flower Arrangement Club was plain awful but the first and third segment made up for it. First segment being mentioned because of Han Megumi's voice acting. |
| 2/5. Im not going to pick this manga once the anime finishes. I even skipped parts of this episode...i really had high expectations with this one...Maybe the manga is better although Wit Studio is not a bad studio at all so it is strange. |

| Best part of this episode for me was definitely the last bit between Anko and Bashame, it was a wholesome bit with a few goofy moments, I usually think Bashame is just dumb but I liked her a lot here, Anko was even nice here beyond her usual siscon antics, I think I really like this show best when it’s more of an SoL with slight goofiness as opposed to when it’s trying to be as nonsensical as possible. Now the other two bits of this episode weren’t as good imo, I enjoyed parts of the allergies bit like the visuals of Nokotan and Nekoyamada freaking out, but the overuse of the “shikaaa” music and the “just allergy things” from the narrator weren’t really doing much for me. But compared to the flower arrangement club bit, the allergies bit looks amazing lol, and this is mainly because it’s simply another situation where Nokotan is being her usual wacky self and everyone praises her while Koshi is bewildered by everything, we’ve seen this before and it never really hit that much with me, there were some fun moments there for sure but overall I’m not the biggest fan of this bit. |

| Nokotan humor seems to be getting old FAST, the jokes are just not hitting lol. There is zero timing on the jokes nor are these set properly. The memes can't carry the show alone. Bashame and Anko segment was ok i guess. |

| Poor Shikanoko, as someone with allergies, I can totally sympathize with her. I would have rooted for her in destroying the cedars. Unfortunately, she was taken to the vet, which makes sense since she's a deer, but poor Nekoyamada was taken too, like she was a cat. The flower arrangement segment was hard to watch, and at certain points, I felt like my brain was freezing. Enduring it was worth it, though, because after seven episodes of waiting, we finally got Bashame's rice field. It was really sweet when Anko made onigiri for Bashame after she finished planting with Tsucchi, a wholesome and surprisingly normal moment considering how weird this anime can be. |

| @DolFunDolphinVT They're pitcher plants! Carnivorous plants in general are actually very fascinating organisms. Pitcher plants attract prey, like flies or ants, with nectar until they get close enough to slip into the pitcher and be digested! The other plants are the rafflesia, which Vileplume and Gloom are based on, along with the well known venus flytrap, which Carnivine is based on ;D Kinda funny that all three plants depicted have Pokemon based on them but they're also very famous plants so its not surprising ;P |

| I get how Nokotan and Neko-chan feel. I get severe allergies to certain pollens. Probably worse than them when it is real bad. I wonder what kind of exam Neko-chan was getting at the vet xD If anyone didnt get the joke about Koshi being called to be examined next. Torako ่ๅญ means "tiger", which are felines so she is also a cat. Bashame's hat forming to her little sprout hair was amusing. Eye catches for this week's episode, with an extra one thrown in for good measure:
Ah yes, the spring season and the yearly allergies–and even the dramatic moments–it brings. Personally, if it weren't for my allergies flaring up for those 3 months out of the year, I would've highly enjoyed a cherry blossom viewing every year, but alas, the watery eyes and sniffles get in the way. Well, at least Nokotan reacts in a similar way that I do and we get to see the "fuzzy" version of her white blob form, so it evens out, I guess. I also like how the specks of pollen have Nokotan's "nuun" face, and whoever gets hit on the nose with it devolves into an itching fiend, all the while being played in slow motion accompanied with the ใใ chorus singing and 3D ใใ looking on in the background. And just to cement any lingering suspicions that Nokotan's antlers might be sentient, they itch and produce snot which is in no way weird. The encounter with the flower arrangement club was rather...interesting, as if nothing else from what we've seen so far fit that description. What I will say, though, is that Nokotan is very flexible with her many personas aside from the normal "deer of the Deer Club" stuff, with different "nuun" sounds to accompany it. And finally, we get to see the labors of Bashame's hard work over seven episodes come to fruition with her new rice paddy; probably the best thing that has come out of this episode along with her interactions with Tsucchi. Just Bashame's obsession with rice, her stoner-like personality, and always talking in the third person is just a complete mood that I am more than willing to gobble up. And to top it all off, we get to see the lighthearted side of Anko, which was rather refreshing compared to the lustful yandere siscon that we've grown so accustomed to. |

| Nokotan being allergic can be justified, but it's also confirmed that Nekoyamada san is a neko herself lol. Nokotan being a god is no brainer as we all know. Bashame and Tsucchi is a great rice planting duo. They did a great work. Those Onigiris looked delicious. Anko being a caring person is just nice to see. |

What was the Kenshi Yonezu song referenced in the episode? All I'm getting is "Spinning Globe" but that seems too recent compared to when the manga chapter would've been released. |
