| I’ve been seeing those videos lately of characters saying the name of the movie they’re in. Which made me think: what are some significant anime that has a blatant title drop that you laughed or had to do the “Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at the tv” meme? I remembered that one scene in Saekano where the mc types in “How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend” which came close. I also remember it happened in Sousou no Frieren and everyone pointed it out. |
| Christ... I need to think a bit about this question. Literally only remember one, and it's from the beginning of my favorite delinquent anime, Kyou kara Ore wa, I think right before the main characters basically scam their own parents out of money meant for a normal haircut to instead get the most ridiculous haircuts they can think of. Now if a light novel adaptation said it's full name, then I'd be punching a wall the moment I'd hear it. |

| I usually don't notice the title drops in anime. Only one so far I know are Bocchi the rock and sousou no Frieren. The Bocchi one was not that impressive and feels like completely out of place that's why for me Frieren title drop is the best. |
