| Whenever the thread is locked you have in the last response a reason for. There are guidelines -> https://myanimelist.net/forum/?board=14 if you break them, the thread is deleted or user being banned it is what it is in majority of sites and forums, mal is no different for that. If there's a problem in it, than maybe you should find a forum with 0 rules, I've seen such places and it ain't a place for any kind of discussion. |

| One thing I've noticed is that a number of mods, especially some of the newer ones do have a bias towards certain people. Had quite a bit of my comments removed because I mocked people harassing me or for pointing out some trolls. |

| I keep reading this as mal album and I keep thinking one of the mods is dropping their LP or something. To answer the question, yeh, mods are unpaid volunteers. They are basically elevated bums (we are the real bums since most of us don't pay) |

| Not really. It'd be cool if they'd ban the constantly toxic users instead of giving them dozens upon dozens of warnings, but otherwise I feel like they handle things pretty well on a whole. |
