| It's nice seeing Frieren show more emotion sometimes. I like how it takes a potion that dissolves clothes to get her giggly. Stark would've loved that gift. |
| Seems inevitable that stark try to pull the sword this season, when he feels he is worthy of doing it. Very touching ending also was caught off guard by that. Wonder if himmel came from the same village, since he had a white cloak also. |

I dont know whats more interesting, Fern starting to have feelings for Stark or Fern seeing Frieren as a romantic rival to the point she doesnt want Stark to princess carry her
| @Comander-07 Think she is more protective in a sense that she see's frieren as her mother/female figure in her life and would feel uncomfortable with anyone carrying/touching her. |

| Smug Frieren, now that I've seen it I need more of it. I hope the season is going to have another interesting arc like the demon one so the rest isn't just slice of like. While it's amazing right now I feel like the more suspenseful stuff helps to keep you engaged. |

| A solid 10 for this episode, it's Stark's birthday and the girls decided to give him his birthday present. Its nice to see his back story, it made me cry...unknowingly he is loved. By his brother and his master. I have to get that hamburger recipe! |

| Amazing episode as I expected. Didn't disappoint at any point of the story. The combination of the past moments creates those sad feelings, but the present story has that funny lines that makes me laugh so hard. This is actually one of the animes that I'm eager to watch. Like I woke up early today just to watch it. I can't wait for the next episode. Thank you. |

| Loved this episode as usual, I thought Stark's brother was gonna be some asshole but he actually cared about him wow. Subverting my expectations again. So Himmel was like I dont need the sword anyway, That's a man of sheer will and commitment! Everytime we learn more about Himmel, I keep liking him more and more. |

Wow... It's been 12 episodes already and yet this show manage to made me cry again. I got caught off guard. The imagery of Stark's brother kneeling on a muddy ground, letting his cape soak on dirt while teaching his younger brother how to handle a sword with such caring hand. It was only a couple of seconds in the shot but it showed a lot of weight to Stark's brother and how he is as a person. And the last scene in this episode with the giant hamburg steak just break me. The moment a person realize how much he/she has been loved are the pillars that hold their characters growing up. This show is amazing.  |
| Starks brother was a great guy. It sucks how Starks village crumbled by their own philosophy against a powerful opponent. If they didn't have such a way of life, there could of been more survivors. |

| Once again, this episode shows why I love this series so much. Not only are the quieter moments relaxing and the comedic moments land flawlessly, but it drops more backstories that strengthens how well paced and written the story and the characters are. Freiren was able to fulfill a long overdue promise at a village of the swords, where we get a short, but beautifully animated fight scene with the attacking beasts getting their arses kicked hard. Afterwards, it was revealed that Himmel the Hero actually failed to pull the sword from the stone. Despite that setback, it didn't effect his resolve in wanting to become a hero and, of course, he would be proven correct. =) With the group staying at another town later on, we got more funny moments, with Freiren making me smile since she wanted to give a lewd option for Stark's 18th birthday while wearing such a smug smile on her face. Cue my laughter when Fern took the potion and downed it all on Freiren, which melted her dress, leaving her naked. XD The interactions between Fern and Stark have been entertaining and this episode had many more of that in store, which always made me smiling and chuckling. However, we got more insight of Stark's past, where he never had much to celebrate with his family due to how strict they were. His older brother, Stolz, was the only one to show genuine kindness, which stayed true when their village was attacked and Stolz told Stark to make a run for it. Either way, the huge hamburger steaks cooked for him on his birthday, along with Fern buying Stark a bracelet for his birthday, was a nice touch, not only from Eisen in the past, but also from Freiren in the present, which made this part of the episode even more wholesome and satisfying. |
