faito = japanized "fight" = it's just a way to say that they will give all to it.

Because the meaning of the word faito in Japanese has a similar meaning to ganbare, where they are basically saying "do your best" or "keep it up" which makes it make more sense in that context.

IT's just the same as cheerleaders chanting 'Faitto!'
Help! I need somebody. Help! Not just anybody. Help! You know I need someone. Helpppppp!

Poor grasp of English verb semantics. Same reason why they say "RAN" when they are supposed to fight.

For the scene to motivate themselves to run, for other reasons there's a meaning into it, if I would be as knowledgable about it as my promoter for Bachelor's who was studying the psychology of group and usage of battle cries during battle my additional answer would be uncomparable longer:

Outside the word itself it is just simply making a "battle cry" to either boost your own morale/motivation or to lower the morale of your opponent [if we're speaking about combat sports] - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_cry

Alot of my buddies, especially when I trained in Buhurt aswell as in tournaments do that [like that is literally having a medieval battle but in sports manner] for that reason, also that is the reason to showcase the power which can be often heard/viewed during Football Matches [In Europe].

Examples - https://youtu.be/2GELvnHWRsQ?si=Iu5JtQrtBbMoyHF9&t=13 [13th second] or https://youtu.be/rmaqojKgx3A?si=pFuHIO_exy8Fp26_&t=38 38th second + as often used in past you can add drums/horns into it example [screams/chants/roars] - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SUeztR-BvQ or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cya5kL-RtCw

And here examples of roar to motivate before a fight/doing a sports - https://youtu.be/LyFOZMWJ6Es?si=wBpn8lkBKzmtlgGN&t=14 [14th second in reality 18th second] or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFWpkWEA5xg 8th second - That's also the reason why leaders made loud speeches before battles or crowd/group chants/prayings for the exact same reason

They are running to fight you because you kidnapped all their friends so they could become your "waifus"
You should start running too, probably.

Sounds like either the VA sucks or a Japanese localizer went rogue. Either way, this is more evidence that English dubs are superior.

I think "fight" is a closer expression to "ganbare" it is wrong to translate ganbare into good luck, ganbare does mean "do your best" because it's not about a divine uncontrolled external event/coincidence but it depends on how much effort you put into it and I believe this is a kinda sad japanese mentality because it put stress upon yourself like if things go bad its 90% your fault and not that you are powerless and things are 90% totally random and unpredictable as westerns are more like predisposed to think. At least this is my perception.

People often pronounce foreign words differently when they import them into their native language, probably to make it easier to pronounce.
English also have plenty of foreign words imported from other countries, but the difference here is that we are too dumb to know that we are butchering the pronunciation.
You can buy lossless digital music from your favorite Japanese artists on https://ototoy.jp/.
The songs are all DRM-free and you can re-download your purchased albums as you wish.
Show your support to your favorite artist if you can!
ps. if you are looking for Japanese albums, you have to search it in Japanese (not romaji). Just copy and paste the name.
