I was surprised that the song was to my taste because I wasn't sure what to expect from this franchise. Seeing reggaeton in one of the quiz options made me wonder if Paradox Live had anything like it, but unexpectedly, I got a trap song instead! Although I liked my result, I was also quite interested in other groups, so I took the quiz again. 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? Actually, I occasionally listen to Korean hip-hop, so cozmez's "Ain't No Love" was a style I'm familiar with. It had a really cool trap beat, and the two voice actors' chill rap style worked well with the song. Their voices also blended so well together. 🎤 If you tried other songs from the playlist, did you find a song that you liked? I really liked "This Is My Love," it was so different than "Ain't No Love." It was a softer, yet emotional song. 🎤 After retaking the quiz, which group (or song) did you prefer? The second time I took the quiz, I got "BErmud△ Tri△nglE" by BAE (whew that stylized title). I'm not a huge fan of the song, but it sounds like something one of my close friends would like. I liked the character designs for BAE, so I listened to a few others songs from the playlist, and I had fun with some of the other songs! "BaNG!!" in particular stood out to me, it's quite hype ✨ But between my two quiz results, "Ain't No Love" was better imo :D |

Or are you interested in another group? i mean, i do like bae in general, but the cat's whiskers is where my heart is. i do like bae's pumped up and energetic style in general, though. 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? i've always thought this, but the production for paralive's songs have always been crispp, and this one is no different. i also like how pumped up it is and the general positive energy from it. and heaven knows it's gonna be stuck in my head now... 🎤 After retaking the quiz, which group (or song) do you prefer? this is kind of cheating, but i took it a second time, this time intentionally picking the results i knew would lead to the cat's whiskers, and, well, ofc i still prefer them. i like their laid-back and classy vibe, plus they have one of my favorite anime characters of all time--ryuu, who always appears like a jolt of energy through the calm, but in a way that enhances the whole thing. anyway brb going to listen to all of ryuu's verses in all of the songs |

🎤 Was the group's music style to your taste? Or are you interested in another group? I think the song is pretty nice. Even better on my 2nd time listening to it. It has some Korean vibe to it. The song lyrics are a bit hard to understand because Japanese songs usually have clearer pronunciation and less English. But they did good adding English where it need to be during the song without ruining the mood. 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? For a male group, I can feel the personality of each chara in this song. English words usage is pretty now. I can vibe to this on my gym days. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? Most of my favorite Paradox Live songs are by them. I like Amprule too. 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? It's catchy and easy to listen to. The English is good too. It doesn't sound awkward. A good mix of singing and rap. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? I think they have one of the best designs. I really like streetwear so they attracted my attention pretty fast. They have an interesting member (Anne) which stands out from everyone else. |

In general, I'm not a huge fan of this music style, indeed, I never listen it, so I thought I wouldn't like the song, but I would recognize that this song actually is not bad at all... 🎤 Was the group's music style to your taste? Or are you interested in another group? Yes and no; I almost liked it, but something just didn't hit me right. It was almost catchy at parts, and I liked the visuals. I prefer female vocalists, so her first/third part was my favorite part of the song. I still didn't care much for her second part, but that's not because it was more rap and less singing - I listen to other female rap vocalists in Japanese. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? The only one I dislike was the blonde. I don't like the haircut or the glasses specifically, as well as the outfit in general. I like the other guy's haircut a lot more, as well as his outfit. I also like the way his eyes are drawn. The character design for the female member was my favorite. Specifically, I like the way her face was drawn more than the other two. Her outfit is pretty cool, too. 🎤 If the music wasn't to your taste, what did you think about the group? I really like artists that can use multiple languages, it can sound pretty cool. They don't always have to mix them so much though, like how they constantly swap languages multiple times in one line. If they did that less, I might like it more. I might be interested in listening to songs they've done entirely in English and others they've done entirely in Japanese. It's a lot more lowkey than other songs, while still feeling modern. Also I was already a fan of the people who voice the characters in 1NM8 so that's definitely another plus. 🎤 If the music wasn't to your taste, what did you think about the group? I also like BAE, cozmez and Goku Luck, but AKYR comes out tops for me. 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? All their songs are super catchy and pumped up. Even their more mellow song "CALL FOR FAMILIEZ" is super good. I like all their member's voices especially Zen Gaho and Iori Suiseki, and also Hokusai Masaki's chill rapping. 🎤 If you tried other songs from the playlists, did you find a song that you liked? I love all of Akanyatsura's songs. The music felt too powerful for me; however, I liked how free-spirited the group felt, the music gave different vibes at different points and the way they sang the song exuded the groups ideals in a good way. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? Definitely vibrant. The facial expressions between the members are well-balanced and their outfits scream motifs of urban, unique, and cool. The physical appearance of all the members are okay as well, I like how they look and how they blend well with the backdrops they are in and the music that they produce. It feels authentic all in all. 🎤 Any other comments? Having been exposed to these kind of media I really am not familiar with is a great way for me to learn and be more open about my tastes in music. While it really did not fit my personality in music since I simply just dabble between genres and just like what I like, Paradox Live is something that I will definitely be checking out as the idea of music being a fit to different people is something I am interested in, shown by the fact that my favorited animes in MyAnimeList are all actually music-related. |

As for the second part of the question, admittedly looking at the group images other people in this thread got made me interested in the other groups as well :P. 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? I liked the vibe of this song quite a bit, as it reminded me of my favorite chill music artist, Thaehan (here's his chill playlist, in case anyone's interested). The lyrics weren't half bad either, though maybe I would've appreciated a bit more variety than more than 50% of it being "Master music meow meow meow", but on the other hand maybe this repetitiveness helps enhance the chill aspect or something (I tend to prefer instrumental chill tracks, so I don't have too much experience with chill music with lyrics). 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? I like the mature and classy look the two of them (the glasses guy and the leather jacket guy) have. As for the other two, the white haired guy looks more like he stepped out of a Halloween party or something, and the young guy also kinda seems like he'd fit better in another band atm, but also at the same time like he could fit in more in this one after growing up a little. 🎤 Any other comments? To be honest, before this event I had the impression that Paradox Live was yet another J-pop boy idol group. VISTY has definitely caught my interest, but I don't have a set favorite group yet – I'm still in that stage where I'm equally curious about everyone. VISTY has the best group logo for sure though! 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? VISTY's idol background really comes through in their discography. I'm especially fond of the audience participation possibilities such as the background calls in the chorus of BE A STAR! 🎤 If you tried other songs from the playlists, did you find a song that you liked? I discovered Paradox Live in May 2022 and have been listening to a fraction of the songs ever since – my most listened song on Spotify last year was actually Giragira Candy Night! 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? It had a very cool, laid-back vibe with a catchy and repetitive chorus which made it easy and pleasant to listen to. I feel it could fit in a variety of moods and environments. 🎤 If you tried other songs from the playlists, did you find a song that you liked? edN was also quite good. I liked the synced voices and it seemed to stylistically match Break Outta Here. I still wouldn't say any of the songs are outstanding, but they are at least pleasant enough to listen to and could work well as part of the anime. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? They very much match the pretty anime boy appearance which I am generally indifferent towards. The characters are clearly well designed and do have a lot of detail, I just don't have any particular attachment to the designs upon my first viewing of them. |

Done it nicely and catchy through my ears. Visuals also lookin good with those colorizing. If i can give the mv a score. I put it on 8. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? Character design so far is fine. Nothing so outstanding but i can see them have potential. But maybe its also because of me still unable to knows the character well enough so i can't put the design into a better words. Not what I was expecting, but I enjoyed it anyway, it has a lot of elements in a song that I like, and it doesn't have too much going on that makes it sound painful to listen to, it's a fun song you can zone out to. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? I like the outfits and the cyber-esque vibes to the group, I favour Itsuki's design the most, I love the accessories and the fact the outfit choices match each other as well as the vibe of the song. 🎤 After retaking the quiz, which group (or song) do you prefer? I retook it and got where they at by cozmez, i definitely prefer 1Nm8 as a group because of the designs being more of my taste, BOH was also more upbeat which I preferred over WTA, I also don't usually listen to music that I've heard from cozmez as such. |

The style was indeed to my taste and "Break outta here" definitely is my fav song from 1Nm8 - sadly there are only 3 so far. Though I gotta admit they are far from being my favourite group. That would probably be either Buraikan or Bae. 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? This song has a nice vibe to it so it's not just easy to listen to but to get lost in it (and maaaaybe sing along) as well. The rather higher pitched voices of Amatsuki and Chiba Shouya blend together well while Kitamura Ryou's deeper voice is a nice contrast to them. Actually reading the lyrics for the song made me realize that each of the members added their own personality to it by singing about the things they like or dislike, which I find pretty nice. 🎤 If you tried other songs from the playlists, did you find a song that you liked? Well, I already mentioned that for me "Break outta here" is the best song from 1Nm8 and since I have a Spotify playlist for Paradox Live I already knew most of the songs of the other groups as well. So I can say that after listening to all of them again and again the songs I like most are probably "Fabulous" from Bae, "Rap Guerrilla" from all groups (the version with Bae, cozmez, The Cat's Whiskers and Akan Yatsura) and "BURAIKAN is back" from Buraikan... or was it "Road to legend"? I've been exposed to it quite a bit over the past 3 years and I remember watching anime like BECK which also had some hip-hop influences, but it still sounds fresh and funky to me. I'm a fan of the loud colors that still manage to work well together. 🎤 After retaking the quiz, which group (or song) do you prefer? My second result was 1Nm8. Welp, actually, this actually hits the mark, really 😂 From all Paralive groups, I do prefer them compared to others, as from my POV, their music composition isn't that "excessive." When they rap, they rap, no need to try experimenting combining other genre and rap in it 👀 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? This song has been on my "liked track" list for quite a while. I'd say the emotion is great on this song. 🎤 If you tried other songs from the playlists, did you find a song that you liked? I'd say that I preferred "Get It," "Good Time," and "Better Dayz." Especially on the last two, they really convey the emotion to "Enjoy your day" with the rhythm and expression, so it's great to listen if you feel down. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? I personally liked laid-back outfit, no need to be extremely fancy or be 「キラキラ」. But, actually, I don't really care with chara design, as I preferred to imagine what they say and how expressive their emotion. 🎤 Any other comments? To be honest, BAE is my second favorite group in Paralive. I like how they try to mix 3 cultures in a song. They do have striking similarity to Chanmina/ちゃんみな in term of cultural infusion. It's pretty unexpected for me since I never expected that this music style is what I was looking for and it fitted perfectly to my taste and I am thankful since because of this quiz I discovered this music. 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? What I liked and enjoyed about the music was the beat because it is comfy and I liked rap music too. How they fit the rap with comfy music is pretty likable for me. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? I want to see them in streetwear and maybe a hat. 🎤 After retaking the quiz, which group (or song) do you prefer? I took the quiz again and got cozmez. I think in both group and the example song I like 1Nm8 more. The cozmez rap was a bit too.. monotone? I wanted more energy or emotion behind the song if there's a rap. 1Nm8 was more of a casual vibe that I see myself putting on the background while working. 🎤 If you tried other songs from the playlists, did you find a song that you liked? I went ahead and listened to the rest of 1Nm8's songs on the playlist and found myself really liking S∀G∀. The techno and the rap goes really well together and gives it a catchy vibe that set it apart from the other songs I listened to. |

🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? I enjoyed the upbeat tone of the song. The song is one of those songs you want to listen too when you feel sad and need to lift your spirits. The artist put everything they had into the song and as a result it turned out great. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? The character designs for the most part were distinguishable. In a world where everywhere you look there's a new character created for every kind of media out there iss hlvery difficult to create something unique without it coming across as a clone of someone else's work. 🎤 Was the group's music style to your taste? Or are you interested in another group? The group did actually cater to my tastes. I enjoy listening to music made in Japan and while this song in particular isn't one I'll listen too as much as some of my favorites I will definitely put in on when I'm feeling down. |

When I chose hiphop/rap at the beginning of the quiz, I was expecting a group I'm already familiar with but I was surprised I got a group I never knew about solely because I didn't follow Paradox Live religiously so I'm not really up to date. But to my surprise, I really liked 1Nm8's vibe in music. I'd love to check them out more. 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? I think they look cool and chill. After the initial disappointment of the song that was picked for me, I went through the playlist of all MVs and found that I also enjoyed some songs by The Cat’s Whiskers. 🎤 If you enjoyed the song(s), what did you like about it? For the 1Nm8 songs I enjoyed the mashup of different genres and upbeat music. the rap parts were really good too. For The Cat’s Whiskers songs, I enjoyed the more laid back jazzy kind of feel. It felt more mature in some ways, which I can relate to. 🎤 If you tried other songs from the playlists, did you find a song that you liked? Yes, the song MASTER OF MUSIC by The Cat’s Whiskers was really enjoyable. It has a late 90's early 2000's feel to it (just what I like). 🎤 What do you think about the group's character designs? I found all character design to be visually pleasing. For the 1Nm8, they're younger and that's reflected in their character design and general style (clothes, hairdos ...etc.) For The Cat’s Whiskers, their wardrobe reflects their style of music quite well and appeals to me as an older listener. |
