| Looks like the characters are picking up this tao stuff faster than I expected. The reveal that Mei was once used as a training sex doll was definitely a shock. I could really understand why the characters were so disgusted by their actions. |

| The Bandit dude has acquired Tao. Currently, he's the strongest guy among the expedition crew. Maybe aside from Gabimaru. He can heal, use invisible attacks and sense tao now. Though he has changed in some way or other for the worse I guess. At least his brother's expression shows that. Those insect doshi are bad news. So one way to master Tao is to have sex? That's why those Tensen were screwing around so much? With their constant practice, they can even change genders lmao. That's a weird power-up. So Mei had run away from Horai. She was basically an incomplete/inferior tensen. Who created her though? Also, poor Mei. That's pretty much grooming for a power-up dude, wtf. That Rien dude is one fucked up individual. All the Tensens are fucked up to some degree. I liked the weak and strong emotion part for learning tao but their way of just suddenly using it and Gabimaru pulling it off (even though he had that to some degree in his ninja training) felt a bit fast-paced to me ngl. Also, the Doshi say that he's at the same level as the Tensen. Why? They trained 1000 yrs to hone their Tao and now, Gabimaru is basically on par with them just by learning to control it. They surely would have more mastery over it, wouldn't they? Damn, the Mu Dan dude is here. |

| 2/5 Another Tao dump episode with lots of info on bochu jutsu & how it's acquired. Great stuff but some of the convenient storytelling left me very disappointed The blonde dude went wild with his new-found powers. Gabi & the sword dude fight some more Doshi's but the way Gabi was able to take em down easily & immediately grasping Tao is just some bull-shit writing. Average shonen trope & im sick of it. The animation & choreography didn't help much either. Barely consistent & fluid, felt like powerpoint presentations at times. Finale next week but i couldn't care less~~ |

| Another action packed episode, all the fighting was amazing Choubei really mastered or understood that tao real quick along with Gabimaru. Im kinda sad the samurai in green robes Tamiya didnt get Tao in the episode and that cliffhanger at the end was crazy. |
