Key the Metal Idol had 13 normal length ova episodes, and then the last two were movie length. Also, somebody mentioned Katanagatari, I think it's worth mention that that series was somewhat particular in its production and release. Every episode is around 50 minutes long, and it was released monthly. |

| Re:Zero had an hour long first episode. Darwin's Game had a 40-something minute first episode too, as well as a final episode that lasted just as long if I remember correctly. Bubblegum Crisis has episodes that range from 20 minutes to almost an hour lol. |

| It's not new, and most of the time these episodes don't need to last for an hour. Kimetsu no Yaiba has had two episodes so far, but the duration of three episodes. However, the content presented in these three episodes could be told in 10 minutes without significant losses in the narrative. Please, Japan, stop doing this. |
