| I'm still debating that myself, like maybe it really is the best they could do and decided to own it, the whole series is like shitposting so maybe it is on purpose, usually with cgi they try to hide it with fast screen movements yet they did that hold / still and a close up and everything so they knew what they were doing. |

It uses technique such as shaking camera/ instant scene transition/ scrolling image to cover the lack of animation/ action choriography. In this whole fight you cant find a single scene that has a complete action animation sequence. The only thing that is actually moving is that CGI monster. So yeah I dont think that CGI is actually intentional, the studio just cant make good cgi that fits, like that isekai show with white hair dude that has an eye patch and guns. (cant remember the name) |

| the animation studio is Studio Palette, they only made a comedy anime and three isekai, that means that the studio has no experience with CGI, they are only using Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou as a trial and error experiment, they thought that was what they were going with lower the resources spent on the movements of the monsters but they did not come out looks horrible 2D and the CGI are like water and oil |

| I'd like to belive, that it is. Especially since 2D animation is pretty good iverall. Imagine if after Mitama healed that fox/cat it would turn into pretty 2D shape. |

| I was unconvinced until episode 4, but they literally put a dodgy filter over live action footage and stapled an anime face onto it. There's no way that's not intentionally a joke. That said, the fact that there was ever any doubt, like they werent doing the joke particularly well in the first three episodes. |

| The CGI ain't even that bad, and it adds to the comedy. If you look at truly jarring CGI like the giant dragon thing in Shield Hero S1, with sharp edges and very marked colors, that's a real punch in your eyes. This on the other hand has softer edges and it is slightly defocused and blurred, and unironically blends better. That said it is bad CGI, still. But the fact they purposedly made that "fluffy" looking outlines is clear sign of trolling :P |

| Honestly hard to say. By looking at this scene, where real live video was put through filter, anime head was slapped instead of real one, and all this was presented as animation gives me a feeling that budget is not so big:  Another thing - computer, pixelated scenes:  Was this due to low budget too or this is actually a feature? Hard to say. But those monsters and pet indeed stand out with CG. |
