| This anime be so damn sweet that it's enough to give a grown ass man diabetes! Can't wait for season 2 and the movie coming later in 2023. I hope this series keeps it popularity so someday we get to see the end of this anime. Also, I really hope this story ends well with them becoming a real family and not a pretend family. I imagine that's how it's gonna end, lets hope the manga author doesn't do us dirty. =D |

| Loid did a good job making first contact, even made Desmond remember his name. A good final episode, seems like operation Strix is not destined to fail yet. Part 2 was just as good as part 1, couldn't really pick a favorite. Looking forward to season 2, really great anime. 9/10 |
| Loid finally had the opportunity to meet Donovan Desmond. While their conversation was brief, it allowed Loid to get a subtle understanding of him, but not much. This show just keeps getting more interesting! I can't wait until the next season comes out! :) |

| At least things are finally progressing a bit regarding the Desmond situation. If I have to describe how I feel about SXF, it's pretty much "now that I started it, guess I gotta see it through" you know? Like, it's nothing special but it isn't bad either. Just a cute little show to pass off the time. 7/10 |

| Rewatching this anime is such a joy. From the action, comedy to the drama and romance, all of its slow burn is incredible. A true solid 8/10. I'm up to date with the manga and the story continues to slowly unravel and develop several characters and plots. As of now, it remains a 8/10, even though it's amazing. I'm only waiting for it to become more serious with drama whenever greater danger and the truths are revealed in the story. Then it could deserve a 9/10. Otherwise, even though it's all enjoyable and entertaining. Some moments with the children at school are dull. They're a bit boring, but not flaws. There's a few nitpicks of Yuri's sister complex coming off as uncomfortable incestual love, and Loid not realizing Yor is abnormal, but that's a compliment to the comedy of the story and continuing one of the main plots. Ultimately, what's great about this story throughout the concept of the trio, including the dog is themselves as characters, but how each of their lives continue to develop along with their character as people into a real family, and how it all revolves around a spy mission to prevent war, with each of them hiding their true identities. Not only that, but even the supporting characters serve their purposes in adding to the complexity of this world and the main characters. Most of them also have dark pasts and/or grand goals. Truly, a top best manga/anime of this generation. Depending how the plots continue to develop and the eventual finale itself, this story could be even greater and stop atop the all time greats. |

| That was a fantastic way to tie this season off with. Probably the best moment in Part 2 so far. I was getting nervous when Loid met Desmond. I always had this idea that the hard part of the operation was just going to be getting in Desmond's good graces & that he would be the usual simpleton target. But his ambiguity & inherent suspicion is definitely upping the stakes. The whole exchange was great though because it captures both high points of this series. The espionage mind games are solid, of course, but this moment tested Loid's experience as a father and how he'd apply that to his mission. Some of what he said was even able to get through to Damian & his father, which adds to this show's SOL factor. Everyone ends up being a winner here...well, except for Becky who missed another chance for her first contact with Loid. I liked the first part more, but this was definitely still a strong follow-up. Particularly the introduction of Fiona is where I felt my enthusiasm for this fully return. 8.5/10 |

| finally Loid meeting the real villian (i guess, since im not reading the LN/manga), and the conversation do intense for each other to adapt. but in the end, it has soften Desmond heart for the sake of Damian, the strict-father-son relationship. plus, funny Anya, tho she almost got caught by Damian about her six sense |

| And we come across the end of the 2nd Part of Season 1! Thankfully, 2nd season is airing right now, so I don't have to worry much about waiting! This episode was one of the best of the season, and we finally got some plot development of the main mission, Loid finally meets Damian's father! You could sense the tension in this interaction, and it seems like Damian's father wasn't completely buying what Loid was saying, maybe he suspected of something. Anya was hilarious, as usual. Now, as a review of this whole season, Spy Family has really shown what a great show it is! It's so funny and relaxing to watch honestly. My favorite episode of this 2nd Part of the Season has to be the Tennis episode, it was just amazing! When I finished Part 1, I was a bit unsure what score to give this anime, so I decided to watch Part 2, because I had a hunch that this anime would start falling to the initial premise, and would become more of kind of a slice of life anime, in part 1 this mainly happened with the last episode, but I was a bit cautious on how the rest of the anime would be. And it seems my hunch was actually correct. Although the anime started and ended with some devolopment of the plot and characters, most of the episodes in middle were only short stories of the character, that barely added anything to the story. I'm not saying the episodes were bad, no, they were all amazing, but I felt like this anime could have done more with the story and setting it has, Part 1 started really focused on the main mission, but in Part 2 the plot just kind of stagnated, with barely any character development. Because of this, I made my mind, and I'm really giving a 9/10 to this anime, because at the end of the day I had a great time with this anime, and when I come back to home, tired, I always go with this anime to relax a bit. I'm only not giving it a 10, because I can only give that score to anime that I really felt were great in every major aspect, and one of the most important things for me in the anime is the plot, which, as I said, didn't get much development in this anime after the 1st couple of episodes. |
