This series is a lot more 'kiddy' than I remember, well I guess I was a kid last time I watched it lol not sure if I'm gonna continiue with it, I definitely prefer Pokemon :) I actually suddenly found Pokemon extremely kiddy compared to Digimon. Digimon is pretty kiddy too, but somehow it makes me smile, but Pokemon just became boring. |

| I never understood how Mimi ends up with Palmon. You'd think someone as haughty and classy as Mimi would have a more... "luxurious" Digimon, but instead she just gets a plant. It's not even a beautiful, elegant plant, like a rose or something. It's a boxing cactus. |

| I... think I figured something out. This may go against what I said before, but I'm starting to think the while the episodes are for the kids, these first evolutions are for the digimon. Every time they evolved it's based on them and how they feel at that moment, not the humans; this makes Piyomon's evolution seem less forced. It's never stated, but I guess it's to solidify the purpose of evolutions for both the digimon and the humans (to fight, to protect)? Maybe? If so, I like that. That said, I kinda wish the Numemon got to get Lovely Attack'd too for their defense. A bear! Monzaemon. Perfect. Dem eye lasers. Toy town. lol at Taichi. Everyones having fun. They're locked in a chest. Numemon came save his girl. Dat theme. Palmon shinkaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Togemoooooooon! Chiku-chiku bang bang! The gear flew out. Dat lovely attack. Even under the lovely attack, Mimi says no. Dat ending. Ok. I think Palmon has the longest "shinka" yell so far. |
