| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I was pretty pissed off that they just killed off Omnimon (yes, I'll use that name) and how he didn't get to pull off the finishing blow. I guess I just have a huge affinity for the first season cast. The movie was pretty bad actually since it was 30 min only. They gather everyone up together and let them die off. I blame it on the second season. |

| Pretty cool short Digimon movie! Didn't feel even one bit inferior to the first Diaboromon movie if you consider it a direct sequel. Diaboromon is a pretty frightening Digimon and the small fighting was pretty good, spectacular animation! |

| IMO, the weakest of the Adventure films due to it's short length, but still not bad. The animation for the fights was really good, and unlike the previous film, the casts of both seasons were relevant. For years, I put off seeing this film because I didn't want the series to end...but now that Tri is coming out, I finally wracked up the courage to watch this. |

| The best thing in the movie for me was how they did the "pass the torch" scene. Usually I don't like nor care for such things, but it was handled very well with the references to Taichi and Yamato. Even though they aren't the Original two, they were basically the ones that started everything for fans of Adventure. So seeing the whistle and harmonica... gets me in the feels every time. The thing I didn't like was Sora. She is literally the weakest and most pointless character in both movies, excluding her being a Chosen Child. You take her out and nothing changes whatsoever beyond, what a joke or two? (And did I feel the passive aggressive shipping issues in the scenes where the three are together? lol) |
| Even though I'm a big Adventure tard for the longest time, only now I brought myself to watch this movie, and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. This was almost as good as Our War Game, and I loved how all the 12 kids participated this time. The animation was amazing as well. |
| Fight scenes were great, but overall an inferior sequel to the first movie, heck off for reducing Taichi and Yamoto to supporting roles just to help Daisuke. Ken is cool tho |
| First they retconned the "crest is in our heart all along" so the 01 kids couldn't go past champion form without the help of Qinglongmon. Now they're retconning that back and let them pull Omegamon out of nowhere lol Also, I can't be the only one bothered by the fact that, in the world where there're hundreds if not thousands of chosen children, only 4 of them tried to fight this big ass monster in the middle of Tokyo right? Enjoyable movie but not as tight and impactful as OWG. |

| This was the worst film in the series, the lines were horrible, super amateurish. They revived the story from the second film, with Diablomon now evolving into an ultimate form called Armagemon. The craziest thing about this film is the humiliation ritual that Adventure 02 did with the old cast. New characters only shine if the old cast is intentionally erased. Omnimon, a jogress-evolution with two ultimates, is unable to defeat Armagemon, but Imperialdramon, which is just an ultimate digimon, manages to do so with the power of light from the digivices and cell phones of the population that was watching the fight. Totally nonsense, a trademark of Adventure 02. |
