| wtf happened 😭😭😭 met shoujo anime aliens and ?. but yeah things were too smooth so they had go kidnap the blonde kid. that part with his monologue was super creepy and uncomfortable to watch idk why, couldnt rly feel happy or laugh watching it |
| lmao wtf was this episode? i didn't think they would actually show us aliens. i kept waiting for something bad to happen. then that dude got left behind but the aliens were nice and friendly. man got some alienussy as well. a great trip for him i'd say. and it seemed like they are saving budget for coming episode. at one point they completely stopped showing faces for a few moments. the faces seemed a little weird at times too. but all this was pre-alien meet-up. after that everything went back to normal. |

| That UFO adventure was something else for sure. And oh my the end credit was full of aliens and one of the guys got left out LOL but the world exploration is amazing though. Now next episode, Tsubomi is leaving? Now what is Mob about to do, confession or move on? |

| Holy, I wasn't expecting this. The episode was mega chill, wholesome, and kind of relatable. I found myself looking at the animation throughout this whole episode with how it was made, which I usually don't do. Thought the aliens would end up fighting the gang, but I'm glad that it turned out the way it did. Also, the movie-type ending with Inugawa being abducted was totally amazing. |
| Just a funny thing about the ending with Inugawa. We have a introvert/geek that is transported into another world where because of some random stuff, he became quite powerful ( here because he understand the concept of a weapon and violence ) which allow him to defend the people he meet and they view him as an hero and he is loved by multiple characters in this world and also manage to have royalty to fell in love with him. It's literally an Isekai. And I would even say that it's a better Isekai than most Isekai I've seen with the ending of him still wanting to leave this fantastic world and doing it so and understanding that he have to look people in the eyes, basically to get out of escapism |

Yes the setting is sci-fi, but as I said, the codes used are the ones of modern Isekai. As far as I'm aware, the shows you use as example does not use those codes. |

Modern isekai? Codes? The isekai setting hasn't changed at all since it was introduced in the 90s. The only thing that has been updated it's cheap trends like videogame mechanics. The heart of the isekai is about a main or main characters being transported or killed/resurrected into a different world, a parallel world that it's unavailable thru regular traveling (magic is mostly involved in the process) You said it yourself, the whole alien scham in this particular episode is a sci-fi aproach. These worlds are in reach in the same realm. Just because the humankind in Mob's universe hasn't developed space travel, doesn't mean this far world that exists in the same realm should be in the same category as an isekai. |
