| For majority of time I use female characters whom I like. Outside that in MaL there were twice a situation when I wasn't using an anime girl. Once I was using my own real life picture with my gambeson on and my closed visored helmet on for buhurt. The second one was mainly for profile where I was using Ichigo Kurosaki from the Blade and Me chapter after the Forging/Smithing scene. |

| The only time I've ever used a male avatar was probably Kaiki for a few years, never use male avatars. In terms of mmos and rpgs also always a female character, pretty sure in general it's more common for males to play female characters and females to play male characters.  |

I'm a male. Here's somewhat of a checklist that I go through before making something my avatar/PFP:
Currently I'm in a Yotsuba PFP phase. I think she's really cute, funny and wholesome so I'm not embarrassed about it. And since I've read the manga and I like it, that checks the two other boxes. |
