Everyone were deeply touched by TRIGGER's performance.

The first half of the episode was really emotional.

Tenn needs a hug. <3

Oh Gosh, I knew this was gonna be an emotional episode... But I didn't expect it to take that path so fast!!

A big hug to Tenn-kun, such a precious angel. It's so good to get to know more about him and what's in his heart. I don't know how to feel about the fact that Troyca changed the song they sing under the rain. I understand that Secret Night is more catchy, but In the meantime is so special... Anyway, it worked.

But I must say that even though I played the game so I know all about that "Nanase-san wa monstaa desu" thing, it's so perfectly done in the anime! Like, you completely understand how dangerous it is!
Great episode indeed.

It's really the truth that artists will give their best performance at the lowest point of their career, Trigger singing in the rain is the peak Trigger and also the bottom Trigger. I find it a little bit strange when Gaku ask fan not to post online when the whole event is already live stream.

I don't know much about Nanase effect but I guess Iori is afraid that Nanase will ask fan to help Trigger. Trigger doesn't want Nanase help, so the situation might get worse instead of get better. Trigger will only appreciate the reward from their hard work, and not a pity support from the rival's fan. A little support behind the scene from Re:vale is much more professional.

Zool makes no appearance in this episode, I miss them already, I love their mischievous.

TRIGGER has an uphill battle to face if it wants to regain its former glory and although it got a warm reception among fans; it faces a strong competition in a market already oversaturated with idols, which of course includes the titular group.

Speaking of the titular group, this episode features an interesting observation on Riku; more specifically, the impact he has on his audiences. I admit it feels intriguing for the show to prop Riku up as "the chosen one" or "the group's secret weapon"; this characterization kinda defeats the purpose of an ensemble group. One member can't be more important than another, but Iori is afraid of losing Riku because, apparently, Riku might become too powerful or something like that.

Yeah, I know that larger-than-life character drama is what makes this show interesting but it shouldn't come at the expense of the realism that people have come to love about this show.

Idk if someone's already posted about this on Twitter or Discord, but Troyca's web shop has updated the episode count for 3/6 of the BDs: 2 + 3 + 3*.
So assuming the remaining BDs will be allocated 2 ~ 3 episodes each, this cour will end up being 14 ~ 17 episodes long, making Third Beat 27 ~ 30 episodes long in total. Pretty exciting!
*technically the BD3 only says "72 minutes of content" but I'm just going to assume they mean 3 episodes 🗿
**For context, season 1's episode distrubtion was 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 2, Second Beat's was 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 3, and Third Beat cour 1's was 3 + 3 + 3 + 4.

Will write more later but just wanted to throw this out there for now ^^

Okay, IDOLiSH7 has reached a whole new level. The first half had me feeling so blessed while the second part of the episode felt like my heart was being squeezed. The moment Riku stopped singing and the fans started rallying for him, I felt something both heartwarming & melancholic. Iori's explanation nailed it and now this ominous sensation has me feeling nervous about continuing.
