 The official website for the television anime adaptation of Mitsuru Adachi's baseball-themed manga Mix announced on Saturday that a second season is in production. The first season produced by OLM aired in 24 episodes in Spring 2019. Funimation simulcast the anime with both subtitles and an English dub. The first season will also begin airing on Japanese streaming service TVer beginning Saturday, with episodes being added regularly throughout the month. Monthly Gessan magazine began serializing Mix in May 2012 with Shogakukan publishing its collected volumes since October 2012. The 18th volume went on sale last December. | I watched the 1st season, and it sure ended lol I liked the story, it was a good baseball story at the very least. They really built up the competition between the brothers, but it didn't really go anywhere. Hope they can do some more in the next season. I'm really surprised that it's getting one at all?? Hope Adachi's other work gets more popular and old anime is picked up by Crunchyroll or other streaming services (Touch, Slow Step, Cross Game) Also love the article that previously came out that Adachi can't tell his character apart. Absolute icon. |

Just a heads up, you shouldn't expect anything the level of Touch from Mix. As the anime imo is just your plain average baseball manga anime adaptation, and never really goes beyond that. Though, it does pick up somewhat in the second half. |
