 The official website for the Ooyukiumi no Kaina (Kaina of the Great Snow Sea) original television anime revealed on Wednesday the main cast, music staff, a second teaser visual (pictured), and a second teaser promotional video. The anime series will premiere on Fuji TV's +Ultra programming block in January 2023.Cast Kaina: Yoshimasa Hosoya (Megalo Box) Liliha: Rie Takahashi (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) Yaona: Ayumu Murase (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun) Amerote: Maaya Sakamoto (Fate/Apocrypha) Orinoga: Katsuyuki Konishi (Deca-Dence) Ngapoge: Tomokazu Sugita (Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu) Handagil: Nobuyuki Hiyama (Kill la Kill) Hallesora: Kenyuu Horiuchi (Dorohedoro) Hiroyuki Sawano (Shingeki no Kyojin) composed the main theme of the anime. Kohta Yamamoto (86) and Misaki Umase (Tenki no Ko insert song composition) are composing the music. Hiroaki Andou (Ajin) is directing the fantasy anime at Polygon Pictures. Sadayuki Murai (Sabikui Bisco) is handling the series composition and is penning the script with Tetsuya Yamada (Sidonia no Kishi). | If ever anyone needed proof that the anime community just irrationally hates perfectly functional 3D animation, this suffices. I mean really, this looks perfectly fine. There's some great foreground and environmental effects, characters interact without issue, and you can also sort of see some reasonable weight to everything. It's downright depressing, almost, that the average Joe just automatically switches into senseless rage mode the second they see anything that isn't hand-drawn. |
