| Shin didn't hold back in his fight this episode. Same with Kyou Kai. It seems they know the high stakes of this battle. Episode also gave a look at Ryo Fui's influence and power. He really is a man not to mess with given his high position in the show. |

| The song choices for the new OP and ED aren't nearly as good as the first cour. The OP song I especially didn't like until the chorus kicked in. The chorus itself was good. Perhaps it will take a few episodes for them to rub off on me. This episode was pretty intense and barely featured any of the main cast. The show continues to develop side characters better than many shows develop their main characters. Lu Buxei himself was the star of this episode. Confronting the Madam Dowager like that took guts and he also shone light on their past relationship. Well, at least Teng finally was granted a great general title. He definitely deserves it. Hopefully though he manages to live longer than the past generals. |

| A new nation by the Queen made another inner struggle for Chin. Not only can they not deploy troops to the North, So also started another war down there. Of course, they're working together. The Queen really knows how to spend her money well and the one that laid all the groundwork in order to create a nation in such limited time is also an interesting fellow. Wei and So against Chin and sooner or later, Zhao will begin their attack. A small award ceremony, didn't hype me up like the last one with more folks. Well, Tou joined the ranks of Great Generals. The ending song is quite charming to listen to. Not as good as the previous one but it's alright. |

| Huh, this anime has been portraying Lu Buwei as an obvious villain up until now. Apparently he was a much more interesting character, and I think all this domestic tension in Qin would have been much better if they had portrayed him that way from the beginning. |

| what's going on with this season songs? the first song was underwhelming, and now this, calm song, that's not fitting the series? the ending song was much better. previous episode left me surprised, but this one was entirely amazing. didn't thought that zheng's mother gonna make her own nation so fast. it came, once again, that kingdmon just gonna surprise my, every damn time. oh, and lu buwy, didn't thought he had it in him. totally don't know what's gonna happen now. lol |
