| I recently spotted one in person and was really surprised. Apparently either some anime convention or cosplay convention was going on I didn't know about and just happened to pass by the last few remaining people from it from a few yards away while I was going to a floral display with my mom. It made me sad because I felt like a isolated outsider seeing groups of friends. I didn't recognize the character on the itasha and didn't have chance to take a photo before anyone here asks me. Anyway I actually kinda like itashas since I do like auto wraps in general but gotta have some guts (or lack of social cues) to have to have them especially if it's lewd and double especially if lewd loli. I think it only really properly gets pulled off on the right cars. I dont think it would go over well on a sliding door van for obvious reasons lol |

| I've recently listed it as a goal to drive an itasha car. I haven't decided 100% who I want on it yet, but I'm leaning toward something from Aikatsu, Houseki no Kuni, or possibly a vtuber (Korone would be cool). It's not exactly a priority at the moment, but I would absolutely love to get one at some point. |

| Hell yeah. I want to get a Nissan Skyline GTR solely to make it an itasha for shows. I kinda have a bit of a weeb car currently with some homemade peeker stickers and side mirror vinyls. This kind of car is my main goal but I would do my waifu Super Sonico instead of Zero Two. |

People who drive painted Itasha are basically people who also like cars, so they probably put a certain amount of coating on their cars and are careful to wash their cars so that the illustrations do not peel off. If the car does not last more than two years, they will probably change the illustration again to the same one or a different one, or they may have changed the car in the first place. I don't think it matters how much it rains, if they have a garage where the car doesn't get wet at all in fine rain and wind, or if they have an underground parking lot or something. Even in a dry land, if you cannot maintain both the car and the illustration of the painted car, Itasha will not last more than 2 years, and in the first place, a dry place is not necessarily suitable, because the illustration, including its color, will deteriorate faster in a place with strong sunlight or dusty soil. |
