| I think 4kids is a little too obvious. What dub has made the most changes from the original source? As in: Differnet names, music, changing plot points, etc. what is the most drastically different dub? |

| I haven't watched many anime with dub but one of them was Nana. I watched that with english dub and sub at the same time (using the sub as a helping hand when I didn't understand the dub) and in one scene one of the main characters answered a question with a guttural utterance that in the dub got translated as "Yes!" while in the sub it got translated as "No!". |

| The Hungarian dub of Perfect Blue was wild. I have laughed so much at that. And it's not even bad, but they translated very liberally, and reminding me how we used to talk 20+ years ago hit really hard. |
| Back when I always watched English dubs, just hearing about Cardcaptors was enough to make me switch to the Japanese dub and reading subtitles. First series I watched subbed and it was definitely for the better in the long run. I've never bothered with it, but has anyone watched Warriors of the Wind? |

I remember this instance only because I found it extremely funny how such a simple answer could be translated to two completely opposite meaning words. |

| Haven't seen many dubs so I have only few examples from what I remember. -> Polish "Lektor" or "Ivona-Lektor" here's explanation what Lektor means-> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voice-over_translation this is the worst thing for anime so watch out ->watch first video from 3:00 to hear how it sounds. For IVONA I would have to put illegal sites with polish translation (not sharing not because of them being illegal but because they are filled with thousands of malwares and other viruses/other stuff) so from youtube I can only show some parodies of non anime stuff which will explain what it is -> IVONA is a voice program like vocaloid but it has a deep/weird sounding which got very popular into polish memes and parodies and also it is used sometimes till today to read-over the translation on anime ex. at 2nd video -> https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivona_Software -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_Echo#Overview_of_operation Polish dub for Naruto |
