| Heh, the mood of this show changes so fast in this anime. Went from a relaxing bath to a big fight involving the main cast again. Hiyori is really bringing her star power into this season with her ruthless aggression. I'm honestly impressed, more than Kikka but looks like she's starting to show her colors too. |

| Op and Ed were the highlights of the episode for me tbh. I'm always a fan of egoist songs and it was as nice as expected (visuals could have been better though) Hiyori is doing a solid job filling in the protag spot |

| The 2nd Cour's OST is decent, though I prefer the 1st by a mile. Hiyori is now a full-fledged leader, Teruto would've been proud to see her in this state, but as for Kikka, some people still have qualms about the former King being the reason for Neo Kyoto's destruction. Ishinome is back as well, though with his powers lost as well when he saved Hiyori post-Code Black. Like Teruto, Sakura is also gone but her cards remain, giving Kikka the PTSD of remembrance. And there is none but the KUGE's rampage that's of concern to capture Kikka and commence as many Build-Divide battles as they can against the KUGE's generals. Code White will prove to succeed Code Black's ambition, and Kikka's true colours will show in the 2nd Cour to what's she's capable of. |

| No full rebuild battle this week, but a lot of worldbuilding. After the collapse of the tower, Hiyori has created a refugee camp to protect survivors from the KUGE. She welcomes Kikka in (under the alias of Teruko to hide her identity as the former king) and Ishinome is also there, though without most of his previous powers from the first season. Unfortunately, an army of KUGE with a new commander shows up with the intent to capture Kikka, and after some self-reflection, she steps up to face the commander instead of running away as she had been for so long. Plus we got to hear and see the OP/ED, which are both absolute bangers as I expected. I'm so hyped to see Kikka back in action next week, and her new ace card looks pretty cute too. |
| That first half was comically bad. |
| Not only now being a badass but also a leader, Hiyori truly has come a long way in those 3 years. |
