| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not a bad episode, Yuri pretty much acting the way I expected her to act, and she is pretty cute when she can. Angel...is seriously like Nagato sometimes more than I thought lol but she is pretty damn awesome as well. Not a bad start this looks enjoyable already. But you can totally tell the entire budget went into the concert scene, although not at God Knows levels, it was still pretty damn awesome and had really cool effects. Totally worth checking it out |

| Since I only watched the raw so far, I'll say that the sound was really good, and the art was pretty. I LOVED IT - now I only need subs to get anything out of it. |

| Watched raw only because I want to watch it early.Good introduction episode but not much background been exposed.Animation & sound is amazing, so does the voice acting.So far Otonashi/Angel yet to impress me but other cast such Yuri,Noda&Hinata I starting to like them :) The concert scene is also nice ( I wonder if the ticket sales money is used to buy weapon) But there is something that bugging me in this episode.At the scene when other SSS members busy attacking Angel,Otonashi in the back watching several tickets flying down...what the hell he's thinking? Need more Yusa please :\ |
| 意味不明なアニメ。 I still don't understand the anime from this ep. I think I'm not used to this kind of anime. I agree that so far it looks good, I really don't understand it at all. Yui-chan's role (Yusa) is a character who doesn't fight (background member). (Oh, and I'm just watching first ep.s of new anime for now.) |

| It's too early to say whether or not it's meeting expectations, but it certainly has the makings for a good plot. The hook is just... too grabbing; rather the whole premise is interesting. Though at the moment it seems like pointless gore-hacks; rather, I'd like to find out why they're doing what they do, because it seems pointless overall, but they did say that if they try to blend in they'll disappear. Animation is fabulous, except for that concert/insert song scene. The ED is nice. |

| It was a pretty decent episode, though I think I'm slightly getting tired of seeing high school setting basically everywhere... Hope that Maeda Jun prepared a plot to justify it... Other than that, I would have chosen a different singing voice for Iwasawa cos that voice wasn't husky enough, yet she is normally voiced by Sawashiro Miyuki. Would have been better with Anna Tsuchiya singing. But it was funny, the gun fights were nice, and I liked the song to, so 4/5 I would say. |

| This is so different from Key's previous works. I really like it. It's a nice change. The animation was great the music was also pretty sweet. Especially the ending song. The humor is alright guess I am just kinda getting use to their jokes though after clannad. That and I don't know why it seems a bit. . .dark in the situation. Don't really know if I like Yuri she is kinda annoying to me for some reason. Reminds me a lot of Haruhi too. . . I like the girl that stands kinda in the shadows though she seems like she might be my favorite. The story is very interesting, there feels like a lot of mystery already at the start which is good. I look forward to seeing more already. |

| Oh hi there awesome Maeda music. It's great to hear your BGM's again. A very interesting premise. There's a lot of stuff that needs to be answered but I am definitely intrigued by episode 1. I don't think the humor was that different from Key works. I mean, for example, the 100 hit combo was totally Tomoyo reference (I think). "Ippen shindemiru?" HAH! That actually works as a joke now. |

| This show will probably be one of the higher rated ones out there. It was AMAZING, from the animation to the charaters, to the music,to the comedy, to the action to the Haruhi/Clannad characters. This was EPIC!!! |

This episode was satisfactory from certainly a twist in concepts and very nice animation. Edit: Wait a minute. I just watched Coalguys subs and it is super accurate compared to Mazui. It's worth the watch a second time! |

| The most anticipated spring animu certainly delivered. It has such a strange premise but I guess it's what makes me coming back to the next episode. PA Works definitely delivered with the first episode. It has some pretty witty dialogue in it to boot. The engrish guy was totally lolz too. We need to see more of him. |

| LOL. Dam, I got trolled. I too watched about half way through the troll subbed version. They actually made the parts sound somewhat realistic because a bit of the Japanese which I understood was translated correctly. And to be honest, the troll subs was quite funny, and SOMEWHAT believable. Anyway, enough of that. I basically had a rocky start, and re-watching episodes isn't something I like to do, so this episode was slightly ruined for me. As for the episode itself, so far it feels pretty mediocre. 7.5/10 at best. But who knows, I do expect a lot from Key and I do hope they will go beyond my expectation. |
