Duke Hyou is really a ruthless man but it takes that type of personality to be a leader.

Another very intense episode as we see the reality of the battlefield. It' really incredible the lengths that Hyou goes to try and win a battle. Crazy really.

Last time I cried this much was when Wang Qi died. What can I say.. .He was one of the first generals and the first battle we got introduced to, wish we could have seen even more of him!
Meh...

"XIN, my boy! Do not let your fire die out!"

RIP BIAO!
General BIAO's Shield will serve as his memory. XIN has now witnessed the death of two generals whom he looked up to.
As General BIAO said, XIN still has a long way to go.

Amazing episode, and man that was a real throwback to when I read this part in the manga. RIP Duke Hyou, a true man and fighter right there. Wish he got to drink some of the wine Shin would provide in the future. At least Duke Hyou respected Shin enough to even pass his shield too like Ou Ki did with his glave. Hou Ken really is a beast out there slaying badass old men in this series yet again.

This series has been extremely underwhelming so far for me, but at the very least, Biao going out like an OG saved a teeny bit of the bacon for me in a sea of otherwise mostly uninteresting plot developments and characters.
Need more people like him in anime, ngl.

General Hyou was really amazing, I have no words for him. He got to where he is only through his fighting instinct, a strong opponent. And in his last moment it was remarkable. Even though it went out, it left even bigger flames behind him. Maximum respect.

i swear this show is incredible, the only thing i think i can dislike at this point is the OP/ED music lol, doesnt fit for me, would rather have some music that fits the historical time period its based on, or something that produces a similar feeling, idk cant dig the pop punk stuff lol

anyway great episode, RIP lord biao... trying to catch up to the current episode (22) rn cant wait to see how it all goes down

Damn I don't see how they can win this... I mean even if xin reaches the capitol... they'll have under 2k troops vs a 30k+ elite troops. damn RIP Biao

Are you taking high drugs or something? unintresting plot? bruhh this is the best arc of the kingdom so far braindead and if you don't like this then please give yourself some peace and stop watching this anime any more and please stay away from the season 4.and stop forcing yourself to watch something that is not a cup of your tea.

unfortunately though i saw the bonding between shin and bio, not only it wasn't like wang qi's bond with him but kingdom was never good at sad moments.
still was awesome episode, and for li-mu using pang-nun as his ace card is old story that i saw for miles. hope it will be his last using him like this.

That flashback with Xin ang Lord Biao while drinking hit hard. Another amazing general is dead...

I guess this turn of events were expected considering their numbers and the last minute sensing of Li Mu's plans. But despite Lord Biao's death, hopefully Xianyang could have bought some time to forge a counterattack.

Episode 17 is truly one of the best episodes and fight throughout the whole Kingdom serie. The emotions this episode brought up were uncountable. I felt my heart on blaze but it quickly went out with Lord Hyou's death. Even though he did not stood a chance against Hou Ken, he managed to hurt him and let Shin move onward to protect Kanyou. He's a general on the level of the Six. He was truly one of my favorite Qin Generals with his eccentric personality and beast-like strenght to overcome impossible tactics. Even outbraining Ri Boku while managing to hurt Hou Ken. He's truly the best.

Goddamnit man they really did Lord Biao in. Fucking Pang Nuan, I knew Li Mu's gonna bring him out but how did he do it? Let's be real here if Wang Yi wasn't sniped with an arrow he would have won against him. He should be depressed as shit knowing he didn't really win against Wang Yi in a fair fight cause that's all he cared about back then right.

Poor Xin. Whenever he befriends a general on the same wavelengths as him, they die.
At least Lord Biao was able to injure Pang Nuan. That should affect his fighting ability by the time he fights Xin someday.

R.I.P General Biao. Another one of Qin's great general's has fallen on the battlefield...

The situation is tough for Xin, who just lost another mentor. Much like Wang Qi, Biao was another great mentor for Xin along his journey to become the world's greatest general...

Much like how, Wang Qi gave Xin his poleaxe before he died. Having grown fond of Xin and in recognition of his talent and potential. Moments before Lord Biao's death, Biao passed his shield to the young commander, Xin...
