| This is absolutely not the best anime of 2021. To put simply, AOTY needs to have some high combination of popularity, acclaim, and personal enjoyment. As you can see, it has failed in every one of those aspects. But you can always watch the first 3 episodes yourself and drop it like I did. |

| Initially i found it ok, but i think they overused the trope that he fails everytime and everything turns out worse then before. They tried to be a comedy based show with a somewhat serious plot. But that didnt work out too well imo. Still, it was ok |
| it's a great show, not the best by far, but very good the best part is it's not like every other anime in the genre, and the few characters they have aren't copy/pasted from other anime they are likable with different personalities animation isn't bad its just average story is the main selling point and its very entertaining lots of messed up stuff happens to the mc and you end up feeling bad for him while still laughing at him its similar to the anime of watamote in that regard |

| i liked it... it wasnt a master piece but it wasnt as bad as people tend to make it out to be.. i'll bet its the sao line... people are so hang up about it that everything similar seems to be bad.. imo the overall rating would be between 7 and 8, instead of the 6 something. |
| If tik tok is saying this is the best of 2021 i just have one thing to say, thank god I don't have one. I dropped this on ep 4, 3/10 easily one of the worst plots I encountered so far. |
| It's like SAO met Konosuba. Local MC is a wannabe Kazuma in terms of humor and reactions on a world and stupidity of others but with a real life troubles, game addiction and annoying sister just like Kirito was. Local fairy is just another totally useless support and potential teammates are no better just like it was in Konosuba also. People who whine about its plot are delusional and forgot crucial thing that we are talking about second-tier isekai/gaming anime which is still better than worthless kawaii crap as BOFURI or boring-fest like Log Horizon. Yes, it's clunky in terms of direction and kinda cheap in terms of events but still do SOMETHING in an original way at least when 90% of isekai/gaming anime don't. |

VRMMO is even worse subgenre than isekai - there is no stakes, MC is just sitting on his vr-chair and playing shitty game, characters are unlikeable - MC is bullied and doesn't stand up and he's mean to only character that was nice to him, he submissive to that dumb bimbo and gets manipulated easily, Leona's design is only good thing about her.
