Let alone necrophilia and rapey side of things, I can't believe how Isayama managed to butcher 3 different characters (Mikasa, Eren and Ymir) in one single page. I was always okay with Mikasa killing Eren at the end, in fact it would be my preferation, since their confrontation was foreshadowed since S1, but like this? Fuck no. |

Mikasa kissing Eren should be the last panel, yes. These could very well be, just as the general consensus, Armin, Mikasa, and Eren chapters for the final three. That would explain why we got a lot of focus on Jean, Connie, and the rest of the cast in the final arc. Isayama wants closure for all the cast before the end—I respect him for that. Maybe that’s why he took more chapters after initially thinking he needed less. I’m not worried about the ending, I know it’ll be satisfying. I know, in the final chapter, everything will be explained, and we’ll finally know Eren’s end game, why his father gave him the powers, Historia’s baby, and Ymir’s closure. Thinking about an AU/time loop ending here. |
| I really like it, it's way better than personally hoped for tbh xD Might be due the fact that I never read theories or my lacking investment in general. It seems like the chapter will have a bit of everything and it ends on a bittersweet note which is the type of shit that usually gets me emotional. |
