What are the last series you awarded with a 9 rating and a 10 rating, respectively, and was it long ago?

| I don't really keep track of when I watched everything prior to joining MAL but JoJo's Bizarre Adventure part 4 was definitely the last anime I saw that I gave a 10 Watched it in 2019. I think around July-September? Some time before part 5's English dub came out anyway. Waiting for Golden Wind ep 1 was unbearable lol Last anime I watched and gave a 9 (I think) was JoJo's Bizarre Adventure part 3 season 2 which I finished the day before I started part 4 |

| Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei - 10, I saw it about a year ago. Jojo Diamond is unbreakable - 9, Read it like 4 years ago I rarely rate something a 10 and I was surprised to see I haven't rated something a 9 in like 4 years. |

| Last 10: Lupin III: Blood Spray of Goemon movie (01/22/21). I wasn't even expecting that, since I thought the Jigen one was already peak Lupin at "8". If it wasn't for that then it would have still been JoJo Part 5 (07/29/19) Last 9: Great Pretender (10/13/20) Too many entries for me to want to count in between of how long it has been. I think most shows I have as 9 or 10, I have had incredible fun watching the series, so in that manner, maybe I'm not seeing enough series like that in which I find funny, highly creative, hits quite a bit in audiovisuals, good execution, high octane intensity, jawdropping, thrilling, and/or interesting premise. Usually the ones that fail to make it have multiple episodes vs the amount of episodes offered that are uninteresting, going away from the direction I was hoping, anticlimatic results, an annoying character that plays a crucial part in the story, etc. I still think I give enough of a frequent number of 9s because all it takes for me is to find it at least "8.5" in value for me to give it a 9 and it takes one really great character to do this. As for 10s, I'm not worried yet. JoJo sequels have a higher chance than most to get in and I'm awaiting the sequels to eventually be made for 6, 7, and 8. |

I'm excited and pleased with the prospect of you finally having seen this one. It currently occupies #20 in rank in my Top 20 and could conceivably shift up or down a few spaces, but it really is something special in topic and presentation and one of the more uncommon experiences I've found in anime yet. But it not just being different for the sake of it but having true substance underneath it while focusing on a micro niche is what makes it extra delightful. |

| It seems like I'm a lot stingier with my scores than most my last 10 was the K-On! Movie which I watched in either June or July of 2018, and my last 9 was Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei, which I watched in early February of 2020. Though I have bumped a couple of shows I originally gave an 8 up to a 9 since Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei, but all of those are series that I've watched multiple times and mulled over for years since I originally watched them, so I felt like they didn't exactly fit the spirit of the prompt. I think the reason it has been so long since I've given either a 9 or a 10 is just that I've gotten much more selective in regards to scoring as I've continued to watch more, and I suspect most if not all of my future 9s and 10s will similarly start out undervalued at an 8 and rising up in score as my appreciation for them grows. As for how many entries until the next one, I do not know but hopefully not too many. |

| without double checking, the last anime I've watched and gave a 9 or above must've been nami yo kiitekure (wave, listen to me) othen than that only Steins;gate 0 and just because come to mind... I might be alone with just because, but I loved the shit out of it (sue me) and I'll concede there might be some franchise bias in steins;gate especially since I've played the VN and loved it :3 so yeah.. thats what got me so far :3 |

| Since I don't use a 10, my last top score, a 9, was for Yuru Camp, which I watched back in October 2020. Since then I've watched two major works that may be in contention for a 9, but which I have not rated yet. They are Crest of the Stars and Celestial Method. |

My last 10 would be king's avatar movie...maybe around 10 months back My last 9 would be GITS stand alone complex 2nd season 1 week back 10 and 9 are pretty hard to come. 10 might probably take a really long time. 9 on the other hand may come sooner. 2021 lineups are pretty goods, few 9 may have chances of coming from them. |
