| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- In wars like this, there's bound to be traps lying around. But at any rate, I do like Shin's determination. His battle speech is motivational for the troops and they need morale in this war. So much momentum this episode though. Every one so far adds more excitement to the arc. It's too bad the show is going to be delayed this season, hopefully not too long. |

| This is what happens when you put the same affinity's to battle each other. Qing she traps and plan was great but Xin is and still is a unknown even among war. Though they have had great victories in battle. He is like a hidden blade. Love how Lord Biao compared xin to Wan yi. Twas a great moment. RIP |

| Some of the visuals weren't the greatest, but I could not fucking care any less about that this week. This episode was fucking awesome, and had my blood boiling the entire time!!!!! Shin acting like a general was pure awesomeness, Kingdom always makes me feel the hype and passion from its speeches of motivation and determination. I'm even more depressed now that the hype train has to take a detour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but for the 4 episodes we got, it was near 10/10 level shit right there. Let's pray this show returns soon (at least summer time), and have it return with a bigger bang than how it temporarily ended for now. |

| A great episode. Biao actually getting caught in a trap was scary but Xin actually managed to salvage the situation. Awakening hype! So much for not being able to reach Hangu pass. |

| Whew, the only thing I dislike about this great war is that each battlefield progress so slowly in each episode since everything happens simultaneously and there's so many battlefield. The delay makes it a lot worse too orz. |

| Damn great episode, first half with Zhao and Qin armies going at it was lit, Keisha the spider vs Da Duke. Second half with Kankoku Pass yoo Gohoumei-sama displaying the greatness. Lets gooo. |

Note that he said this during the Coalition Arc, Kingdom's Peak Arc. Back then, Kingdom wasnt as famous in Japan so he doesn't have as many Assistants as he usually does now! He isnt sick, he was tired because of the fatigue of writing a manga. You are claiming he was ill but he was simply fatgued because of writing manga. Also, there were no indiciations of any reason much more an illness why there was no Season 3 of Kingdom for a long time. The manga has since the Coalition Arc (yes the Arc where Hara's Kingdom gained recognition in Japan) became the FLAGSHIP of Young Jump. Also consider how bad the reception was for Season 1 and 2 of the Anime amongst loyal fans. They pretended it never existed most likely since the Manga was picking up sales at tremendous pace it didn't need an anime to sell it Criticizing me of not following the manga? I've been following the manga since before translators picked it up. Can I also add that even if the manga did stop now for any reason. There is already enough material for hundreds of episodes to come. |
| I was curious how they'd handle the large scale battles, would they show large numbers of troops clashing with each other and thus have to use CG to some extent or would they make it more tactically oriented and show bits and pieces of the battlefield and how the troops align as such, although not as exciting they did go with the latter but i feel it was the right decision. Great episode as always, can't remember too much details from the manga which is a good thing and it'll allow me to relive events a new. Great to finally see Kyoukai, though it'll most likely be the last time we see her this season :( |

| When I first saw the siege tower, I was like "It ain't gonna reach either." Then I was looking at the balls at the top and was curious what the heck they could be used for. Then as the tower approached the wall more closely, I noticed that the gated part in back was basically empty, then I saw the spikes at the "bottom" of the gated part... "Ohhhhh!!!" Then it all clicked. Hahahaha |

Also a Kingdom 2 games has been released so I would check them out theye are great btw. This is not official but espect this season to adapt 2-3 arcs. Also there is a rumor going around that it will have 40 episodes.Im really hyped about the anime. Every week I buy bunch of snacks and eat like a pig while watching it. Well, my point is that delaying the anime has nothing to do with Hara's health issues (if he had any) because there is already enough material for hundreds of episodes. Did not want get involved in your quarrel but you can't say that he is not following the manga, he clearly does. |
| We finally get to the siege tower moment. It smashing against the Kankoku Pass is one of my favorite panels in the entire manga and I can't say they did it total justice but at least they didn't ruined it either. It's good this season but limited in both animation and pacing. I feel like it is going way to fast. The new art style works and the cg is not distracting so I don't understand how someone had the idea of making a sequel instead of a remake. It would've sold far more. |

| That was fucking great. And the fact that I can finally get the continuation of this season past this point in the anime today is awesome too. Seeing Go Hou Mei's siege with that giant ass tower to breakdown the wall and throw those boulders across it was awesome, seeing Shin tap in to the instinctive side of him (without knowing himself) while acting like a general in command with Hyou's soldiers and vanguard was awesome, seeing Kan Ki troll about even though he's in a tense battlefield with massive stakes was funny and awesome too just because it fits Kan Ki's personality so well. The music was awesome too. Man I'm excited to see this show back now. |

| i believe that though that siege tower had reached, it tactic won't last far. (not saying though it's not interesting/exciting concept). and now xin is already able to lead 10k soldiers? i can see him becoming full general in this season. damn the OST are badass. |

| General Hyou was just fucking crazy how he stole the spotlight from the other army and Shin taking the morale of the army up was FUCKING EPIC. HOLY SHIT! Also, the music is just so goddamn good. Kanki's personality makes the war a bit light hearted which is sometimes needed. And the siege tower.. the concept is great but I don't see them all gettin there. |
