Story With all the uncertain events of recent weeks, MAL's Easter Bunny has heard this spring will not be so festive this year. He knows you're disappointed about this. He is, too. That's why he decided this year's Easter celebration must be moved to summer. MAL's Easter Bunny is currently off, scoping out good locations and events where he may be able to hold Easter. Jump with us into summer and follow the trail of 17 chicks (easy route) or 18 eggs (hard route) he dropped along his way. Each chick/egg will have a letter on it—but the letters are scrambled. You'll need to collect and unscramble the letters to determine where the Easter Bunny is currently setting up festivities. You may work alone or with a trusty partner. Easy _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (6 / 2 / 9 letters) Hard _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ (6 / 4 / 2 / 6 letters) Please catch up to MAL's Easter Bunny and bring him back! How to Play   First, you need to choose a route: Easy or Hard. We suggest that users who are new to the event or do not have a lot of time, do the Easy route. The hunting skills you learn during the Easy route will help you tackle the Hard route (later or next year). Easy route: You will be looking for letters inside a chick outline, like on the Gudetama picture to the right → Hard route: You will be looking for letters inside an egg outline, like the Toshokan Sensou picture to the right → The images with the chick/egg will always appear on the last picture of the image gallery in a database entry page: Anime, Manga, Character, People. To find which entries have chicks/eggs, you need to solve hints. The first hint is given to you in this thread. For all subsequent hints, they will be visible on one of the tabs of the entry that you found the chick/egg, excluding: Reviews, Recommendations, Stats, Featured. Hints will not be inside other related database entries unless the relation/link text itself is a clue. Look for anything unusual.
Clickable hints should be clicked! The hints themselves are mostly not difficult. Searching "anime + ..." a few keywords from the hint will bring the entry up in DuckDuckGo (no personalised search results). We are not expecting you to have seen/read all these anime/manga! Finally, doing the hunt will look something like this... Example:

| And I'm already stuck lol. I'm on the second anime page (found the chick, so it's confirmed) but I'm stuck on finding the third hint. I found something that is mildly suspicious, but I can't figure out what it means since it's rather vague, and it might not even be the hint lmao..................fml EDIT: I "figured it out" almost instantly after posting this, but I'm still not sure I'm correct since I can't find the chick. I can't imagine what else the third anime could be, though lol. This shit's way too fun. I love the Easter egg hunt just because it's incredibly frustrating in a really fun way (does that make sense?). I always end up giving up halfway, so hopefully this year will be my first completion! |
