The Fantasy Anime League is back for its 23rd season! Registration Deadline Sunday, September 29th, 19:00 UTC Please send in your FAL team before this date.  Click Here to Register Some things have changed, so be sure to see the rules. New to FAL? FAL is like Fantasy Sports with an anime twist. Players form their own "team" of anime from the Fall 2019 season. Once registration is complete, everyone watches their teams collect points according to criteria like: # of users watching, # of users discussing, etc. You don't even need to watch the anime you've chosen! If you really want to try and win the game, there are additional rules like swapping anime from your team or using wildcards and aces. However, none of this is required. If you like, you can just submit a team and do nothing else for the rest of the game. Make sure to also join the Fantasy Anime League club for notifications on all future updates. |

Points are tallied every Sunday at the time indicated in the rules. That's why it is important to choose your team's starting setup wisely, when it comes to active and bench titles, and to always know which titles you've got on active and bench. It's part of the strategy. Most eligible anime titles start during the first or second week, but on rare occasion we have titles that start during week three or later. These are ones you'd probably want to leave on your bench until the week they start airing. Bench swaps are processed before the weekly points are tallied, so you can do the bench swap any time during the week it airs. Just make sure you save your first bench swap for that. That early in the season you cannot swap more than one title every three weeks. |
