I'm all hyped about the show , the anime excelled in showing the feeling of missing home and being an immigrant.

and now my question to you , do you agree that the old mangas and stories written at that time (2000 - 2007) are more strong and well written and of less plotholes with a strong premise?

I mean in that time we barely see any story or show with nowadays agendas and being commercially cheap but attractive.

P.S
Excuse my English.

err you have to actually show statistics that confirms this kind of "mature" manga are common during those 2000-2007 times compared to now

Tokyo Ghoul 2011 / ReLIFE 2013 / steins gate 2011 if we're talking about a great conclusion / The Promised Neverland 2016 / Terror in Resonance 2014 / Psycho-Pass 2012 / Your Lie in April 2011 / Death Parade 2015 / Made in Abyss 2012 / Mob Psycho 100 2012 / Puella Magi Madoka Magica 2011 / A Silent Voice 2013 / Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu 2010 / Violet Evergarden 2015... yea writers are unable to make a good story nowadays they lack 2007s fantasy, welp guess that's it folks no more anime / movies / tv shows, 2007 was the last good year, sorry if you were born post 2007...

I don't want to be that person, but your list seems to indicate you've read exactly 1 manga that was published in 2000-2007 and that's Deadman Wonderland, which barely made it (and also wasn't that well written). Besides, only a few of the anime you watched are from that time span. So what exactly are you trying to accomplish by making this thread? it seems pointless.

Well that's not old at all. Besides the fact that there's no correlation between a story having "plot holes" or any other random aspect like that and it being made 10 years sooner or later.

Well it's probably because shows back then had more episodes and had continuous seasons than divided seasons.

Boring as hell, watched all 3 episodes, not my cup of tea, it's like reading a history book about vikings and how greenland / iceland came to be, and the war vs. old England.

A fictionalized version of Thorfinn Karlsefni is the protagonist of the Japanese Manga series Vinland Saga by author Makoto Yukimura.

Should I troll in the troll bait threads? It is kinda idiotic to be logical in the troll bait threads. Well, it will depend on my mood.

to be fair, older mangas have been coming out for longer, and so the plot's able to develop more.
