Two More Cast Announced for 'Ni no Kuni' [Update 6/15]

The official website of OLM's theatrical adaptation of Level-5's Ni no Kuni game revealed two more cast members on Tuesday. The film will premiere in Japan on August 23.

Cast
Haru: Mackenyu (Chihayafuru live action)
Princess Asha: Mei Nagano (Peach Girl live action)

Yoshiyuki Momose (Mimi wo Sumaseba) will helm the film which will feature an original story. Joe Hisashi (Howl no Ugoku Shiro) will compose the music. Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino will pen the script.

Didn't see this coming. They're finally making an anime adaptation out of the game. This makes me feel more excited to watch this.

Meh, I don't have any expectations for this adaptation. I played the first one and I love the story and the characters. Especially the characters. How can they possibly adapt the game properly in just....say 2 hours or 1 hour and 40 mins?

Edit: Ok, apparently...this movie is going to feature an original story. Maybe I'll try the movie out.
