| Hey all, just wanted to inform you that IMDB has Attack on Titan season 3 episode 5 "Hero" with a clean 10.0 score, which sets it on top of all other TV episodes ever. https://www.imdb.com/search/title?title_type=tv_episode&num_votes=1000,&sort=user_rating,desc Sure it has only a small amount of ratings compared to the other big players, but its impressive anyway. I would personally suggest you to get up-to-date with the anime and enjoy the ride with everybody already, have fun. |

It’s been awhile since I’ve even seen it anyways Yeah, I also think you should. I had similar thoughts on 1st season and even hated some stuff, but it wasn't bad and still watchable. It truly shines at season 3 though and now it's one of my favourites. So it is indeed worth catching up to. |

| Only 2k votes not that impressive when GoT has episodes with 100k+ votes and still maintains its score of 9,9 . GoT has a few thousand haters there too. Most of the haters for this show used to attack it more because it was overhyped (and not at all reaching their expectations for all that was told about it) from the start and super popular beyond belief worldwide. And to be fair, nobody was expecting the end of this arc to actually make the whole content up to that point much better than at first glance before the big twist came by (which made this overhyped thing from back then an actually amazing piece of work overall, in the opinion of the majority of the readers including myself). This one really benefits of rewatch/reread bonus and of its rich and well established overarching. Episode 5 will actually be overshadowed by the basement portion soon enough anyway, I'm far more curious about both MAL and INDB rates for the episodes covering the final part tbh. |

| I think it'll go down in within a few months, though not significantly. Maybe down to like a 9.9 or 9.8. There were many shows that hit the 10.0 weighted average (ie. Hannibal, Gravity Falls, Lucifer, etc.), but none of them stayed for as long as GoT or Breaking Bad have |
