Do you pirate your Anime, or watch "free" anime streaming sites such as; Kissanime.ac Animeheaven.eu GoGoAnime.io And Many More Or directly pirate it via downloading? Personally, I pay for Crunchyroll Super Fan Pack. Just because I watch a lot of anime and $14.99 a month isn't that bad of a price for what's it worth. I don't shame anyone who pirates their anime, I mean, I can't blame you for wanting to watch Anime. |

I download it: BluRay, DVD, WEB. etc. My internet is so slow that seeing it online is not a good idea. I prefer to download it and see it in good quality without internet. Nobody should be ashamed to hack anime. Like Crunchyroll pay a pittance to the creators for the license. |

there isnt much of a difference between streeaming anime using an illegitimate source or downloading the serie. at the end of the day, you are still watching anime in a way not authorized nor intended by the anime company. as for me, i pirate / stream most anime. the only exceptions being love live sunshine (the company aired the series for free on line) and series available through Amazon. not that its that much of an excuse, but many series i like isnt available anyway, and the only legal streaming source is region-locked. (yea, i could use a vpn, but that is breaking the TOS and not different from pirating). i, however, buy the manga to support the original mangaka though. i think its the more efficient way to support the original creators as well. |
You can buy lossless digital music from your favorite Japanese artists on https://ototoy.jp/. The songs are all DRM-free and you can re-download your purchased albums as you wish. Show your support to your favorite artist if you can! ps. if you are looking for Japanese albums, you have to search it in Japanese (not romaji). Just copy and paste the name. I could pay for Crunchyroll of course, but for the price in my country and the amout of animes that I watch per mounth it's kinda expensive.... But I think in the near future I'll have to use the Crunchyroll anyway if I want to keep watching animes with subs in my native language. |

I'm pretty sure this thread won't last a whole lot (Particularly because of the short list of streaming sites in the OP). The answer is yes, I mostly stream my anime these days, I use donation based websites, which, although their selection is kind of limited due to the cost of keeping the servers afloat, they don't have any ads, malware or even tracking (Or at least nothing that meets these three criteria that my security perimeter can detect). I generally avoid streaming services because they're a waste of money for obvious reasons as shown below and as I tried to explain thoroughly in this thread. So yeah, when the legal means are more inconvenient than piracy I will always resign myself to piracy. |

Anime DVDs used to be 30-40 dollars for sometimes 3-4 or 4-5 episodes per. That's around 150-200 dollars just to watch a show. NEVER FORGET. |

No... Well, almost. Last months, I´ve been watching legally on Crunchyroll, Amazon and Netflix for the most of time. However, some anime are impossible to find on those and there´s no DVD/Blu-Ray release in my country. So, if I want something from 20 years ago, I have no choice but to pirate it. |

I definitely watch much of it for free. But I don't download, that's actually way too much storage space. Last anime I actually pirated was probably Hellsing. Honestly I don't torrent at all any more ever since my brother got our IP busted for torrenting a movie. I probably could but eh, I already have so much music. |

I do, though I'd prefer not to. Unfortunately anime is distributed with site exclusiveness and older anime doesn't seem to be hosted all that often... So yeah. I'm not gonna pay for multiple sites that carry like 2 shows I want to watch each, you can fuck right off with that. If the show/movie is good enough, I'll buy the DVD. |

Not anymore... mostly. Started watching seasonally week to week (some I leave to binge at completion) simuldubs [FUNimation]. Got my own FUNimation subscription now and I'm starting to buy DVDs/BDs for series I want to archive. Also household has Netflix, but I don't see myself ever going back to Netflix for anime. Not enough variety/doesn't expand often enough for me. I started with Netflix originally but it ran dry for me. |

Torrent. And I still spend more money on manga every month than the cost of CR sub. Tbh even if CR wasn't as bad as it is, I think I'd still prefer to download BD quality anime and then "make up for it" by buying some merch directly from JP. At least this way I'd actually "support industry" and not give them some meaningless pennies after all the middlemen take their cuts. |

lucas_toom said: What websites can i torrent anime from This reply is 11 days late but since no one answered yet, I usually go to https://animetosho.org/. There are some other options, tho. Other users might know better ones. As for the main question at hand, yea I mostly watch animes for free in kissanime or by torrenting. I live in a developing country where USD is increasing right now. I'm not working yet & I don't feel like asking my parents to buy me Crunchyroll subscription, let alone the original anime DVD. So I watch on-going animes in kissanime. But if I like the anime a lot when it finishes or feel like binge-watching a new series, I'd torrent them and keep them in my hard drive. |

Yes, i always pirate anime since some CR available on my region are not accessable as it is. I always go to kissanime since it offers a lot of catalouge of anime, both older and newer stuff. (sorry for my poor English) |
