Awhh.. I'm just half way through of the 1st volume, and apart from author's pointless details in his over-imaginable rape scenes, boring starting characters, cliche fantasy setting and childish conversations slapped together in this story :/
It's like an author came up with this shit just by sitting on the toilet one day after playing all day JRPG games and his PornHub's night after.

"When he drank his hot tea at the Guild Hall, Goblin Slayer appeared to be simply pouring the liquid into his helmet." I'm mean :/ seriously?! (ohh..come on!)

And what's with the stupid character names: Cow Girl, Guild Girl, Spearman, Uncle Farmer?!

Will it get at least decent in later volumes? Or is it the same info-dump story?

I haven't read the novel so I can't tell you but judging based on your post you really seem to hate it so why not drop it ?

Your post made me think that you really hate it.

So why ask? Just drop it.

The story might get better, or worse. But, if your first impression really that much. I think there's a little or even nothing what other people say will change your mind.

Bakemonogatari (Part 1) were also mediocre at best...but it did get a little better,.. and...much better with later ones.

Just read the manga, which at least supports the story with very good art. Or read Conan instead.

I read the first novel and to me it got even worse when more characters were introduced. If you hate it now, i doubt the latter half of volume one will change your mind.
