I suppose tears started to come out when Riku was confessing his sins and praying to Tet at the Suniaster scene.
Heckle was here...

Dang well I didn't actually cry but I was on the verge of tears during the part where Schwi died after fighting Jibril. Like Jibril's one of my fav characters from the show but in that scene I couldn't help root for Schwi.

At the very end, when Riku cried out to Tet.

But I was also very moved when Riku proposed to Schwi.

At the end 💔 it was very emotional and after realizing that Tet came from Riku’s strong wishes it broke my soul and my poor heart

Well yes , but because I was reading the light novel idk but in novel it was more emotional .... still remember my tears on front of book , but in movie I also cried but when ?
Schuvi trying to protect ring and dies , Einzig talking as "Schuvi" and giving ring to Riku , Tet appearance to get (Sinister Grail ?) and the last scene Jibril reading full names of Schuvi , Riku and Couronne .

Also I had some tears on 8th volume of ngnl ( non - spoiler , but there are alot of reference to the 6th volume[No game no life zero story])

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

This pretty much sums up the whole movie for you.
Well, not crying - with tears- but the idea was definitely here.

The beginning and end

Why don’t we become monsters and really mess up this awful world? Just destroy until there’s no more evil, no more sadness, no more anything…
Wouldn’t that be great?

I teared up multiple times during the movie. Honestly, it was so amazing how they pulled each other up out the most raw, dark, and desperate emotions in their hearts. A gem like this only comes through every once in a while so I'm going to enjoy it.

I didn't cry, but this film's narrative was so strong I got depressed when Riku burnt his hand before even making a contact to the Suniaster. That was f*cking unfair, mate. He did everything, yet...

Very impressive, movie. Only the cynical would find this mediocre/bad. They need to re-evaluate their viewing standards.

Amazing how some people shit talk "elitists" for thinking they're the center of the universe when, apparently, some people who think No Game No Life: Zero is a Masterpiece say that whoever thinks this movie is mediocre needs to "re-evaluate their viewing standards".

Yes, this anime should get "romance" and "drama" genre tag ...
I cried when Schwi fought Jibril.. And some other scenes quite sad too ...

Cry, baby, cry. If your reason is me being an elitist, then I feel sorry for the injustice I've caused you. Sorry I killed your dog to make you wail like a child.

Damn that was a sad reply xD And here I was thinking I'd get an answer that would actually enlighten me as to why people should re-evaluate their viewing standards when they don't agree with your opinion, but I guess I was expecting too much.
