I actually thought those characters as same as they are supposed to be incarnation of same people. but now that you say I was actually more more moved by Schwi and Riku

NGNL was good show, but it's movie Zero was so much better, it's one of my most favourite anime movies. personally I like Sora more than anybody, but as duet, Shcwi and Riku were better

both were good but Zero was just a better, more moving narrative and so due to that I prefer Schwi and Riku.

Well, Schwi and Riku aren't obnoxious omniscient mary sues, so of course they are better and actually watchable.
